The white blond lady at the desk was helpful and cleared some kind of block on my account. The Asian man who was taken returns at close was super fast and efficient, he got me checked in super fast and I appreciate that.
I am 5â€˜3â€œ tall. The 20 foot van I rented was so high off the ground that one of your staff had to hold a stepstool to help me get into the truck. The truck was supposed to have a full tank and only had a quarter tank but it was enough for the short trips I took. Not very thrilled at having to pay $60 extra for refueling but unless I can find somebody to hold a stepstool while I got in and out of the truck and our self-service gas stations there was no way I was going to put gas in it. So That is my only issue with the equipment the extra $60 to use the truck for five hours
The personnel assisting during reservation should have more politeness and have patience with customers having reservations.

I had ordered a utility dolly which wasn't provided. They did, however provide a credit when I returned the truck.

This was the worst retail experience I've ever had. I've never had problems with UHAUL before, but I will NEVER rent from UHAUL again, and I will advise everyone I know to do the same. Here is the breakdown of what happened: 1. The staff at the Fletcher Drive location gave my truck away. I was 45 minutes late because my daughter was having health issues. They said they called me. This was a lie. I had no missed calls in my queue. I lost the moving help I had purchased (through UHaul) because they were scheduled to help me that day. I had to complete the majority of the move alone and this caused incredible stress and a major back injury. 2. I purchased TV moving boxes. I could not fit them in my car. The staff said they would hold the boxes for me. When I came back that evening to get a truck that became available (I arranged this through a customer service rep on the phone who actually was very helpful and professional) the staff at the Fletcher location told me they sold the TV moving boxes that I had purchased to SOMEONE ELSE. When I asked for a refund, they refused to give me a fee. 3. When I paid for the truck rental on 10/31, I used a Mission Lane Visa (for 70.40), the attendant said this card did not go through. However, it did go through (on my credit card statement). So, on 10/31 I was charged 70. 40. On 11/3 I was charged 98.14 and on 11/4 for some reason I was charged 58.12. I am requesting a refund of ALL charges. I will continue to pursue this until I am reimbursed for all charges.

Ken at Atwater Village took extra steps to reserve 10' truck on pick up date and provided an extra free day.
Easy in and out service. Call for an appointment if possible I think it will save you time. I went a week before I needed the trailer and gave them my credit card and information so it was very fast when I went in the following week to pick up the trailer.
Ken was great in the morning. I thought it would take a long time cuz there were 3 in line. He was efficient, professional and kind. You r lucky to have him and so are we.
Front tires very worn. Was concerned due to trip consisting of interstate driving at highway speeds and tire life was near expiration. Service at location was slow despite early check-in

Loved the very professional and friendly staff, including manager Ken. Only down side was the truck I rented had a 4-year old battery in it, which went dead, not allowing us to start the truck after loading it. To their credit, U-Haul sent a service truck to replace the battery, and the process of dealing with "road side assistance" was a positive one (shout out to Alex (?) in the Arizona call center via Oklahoma).

I called customer service at Go-Uhaul because I did not receive a refrigerator dolly. The representative said he would remove it from my order. He didn't remove it, but instead added a furniture dolly to my order. When I returned the truck to the Atwater location, the receiving agent removed both charges.
All staff at location are very unfriendly and should all be trained in how to communicate with all UHAL patrons . On a other note one staff member stood out in the worst way possible his language was very bad and choice in word was F and treated me as if he wanted to fight and telling me that I should learn to read my contracts as well as being his coworkers to accuse me for not understanding a contract worst experience ever .
I was charged a $20 after hours drop-off fee because the uhaul website could not recognize my location. I chatted with a customer rep while I was trying to use the after-hour drop feature advertised and they instructed me to make my iPhone location available. I enabled locations in settings, privacy, safari and in safari. The website could not see my location. This was at night in a questionable neighborhood where what looked like, gang bangers, watching me sit in the trucking walking back and fourth on the sidewalk outside the parking lot. I spent another hour the next day on hold trying to remedy this with the store and customer service to no avail. I don't think I will use the uhaul service in the future after this experience.
