The Florence location over booked for my appointment at 10am and gave my truck to someone else and I had to wait till 1pm and had to pay double to my movers. When I asked them why they didn't call me. in the morning they didn't have a answer and said he was on vacation/off for a few days and it someone else's fault. Very bad experience starting with poor customer service, bad attitude towards customers, unwilling to help with simple questions. Back of the truck had oil, messed up my furniture. Will never go back there never.

I happened to deal with an employee in training...she wasn’t very knowledgeable or insightful. Didn’t know the process yet & therefore wasn’t articulate in explaining it to me. Left me a little confused & slowed the process. It wasn’t as convenient as I preferred. For example: she couldn’t explain if I was renting the truck by the hour, mileage OR both? So the manager (D Metra) had to intervene. Also I reserved my truck online, but thought once I came into the office, staff would takeover & complete the transaction. But the TRAINEE stated I had to finish the self-checkout process myself & refer to my email. I didn’t REALIZE I selected self-check out, DID NOT prefer it...and the TRAINEE waited while I fumbled threw my emails INSTEAD of taking over & selecting another option of HER completing the checkout from her computer. Again the manager had to intervene explaining to her that there were other OPTIONS available to get me the product & services I needed to make the checkout process as smooth & convenient as possible. (It wasted some of my time & added frustration where it didn’t need to.). The staff person was NOT ready to deal with customers on her own! Customers shouldn’t have to suffer while she’s being trained!

When you rent a truck it should be dried off before giving to a customer not water running all over the car including the windshield because they just hosed down the truck. Very unprofessional!!!

I must say this location as busy as they are always have the best personalities they show great team effort they are total team players management and staff get along so well it's a pleasure doing business at this location I think each and every last one of you fried my experience being just totally great. The truck I reserved was not available. I had to get a smaller truck. The price I was quoted was more. I spoke with a Metra Robinson and she told me she’d call me back in an hour, she didn’t. I called her several days straight and left messages. I still didn’t get a response. I called the corporate office to file a complaint. They told me someone would contact me within 3 days. I still haven’t heard anything. This was the worst uhaul experience in my life.

The customer service here was attentive and caring, Though a person was receiving training, the process was able to move along without frustration. This was primarily due to the lovely demeanor of the person being trained AND the manager doing the training. Great job!

They broke my hitch light and I had to buy another one for full price$24.00.. They would not let me buy one for at lease half price. And they are the ones who broke it when they took it off my van to hook up the trailer! I won't be going there ever again!
