Dana, Patricia and others were GREAT!! We will be back!!! AJ on Saturday afternoon when I returned the vehicle was awful: lost ,dazed, could not get the computer to work. He was unaware of what was happening around him, i.e., he passed me over because he did not know I was next in line. I fear people could have walked off with the store on his watch. ALSO, he said the work F-word twice...surely not your regular customer service practice, right? Thanks for listening..

The reservation process takes some getting use to because you start globally with a 1-800 number and eventually get referred to a local equipment yard. Whereas in the traditional rental model you start with whomever is closest to you and if they don't have what you need they refer you or order it in. Admittedly the 1-800 approach is more efficient because a specialist with a computer can track down equipment quickly. The problem is the 1-800 person is a stranger perhaps thousands of miles away whom you've never met before and will likely not deal with again. And, early on they ask for a credit card number. I suggest you work toward an Amazon model where the customer can search for acceptable equipment/ travel distance match on-line on their own first and then offer their credit card number after finding an acceptable deal. By the way, once I got matched to a local yard, the rental went smoothly at a very fair price.

Train your employees to work a tow/disengage a tow. Especially, since UHaul is cheap and staffs as little people as possible. All must be cross-trained. Also, your a multi-billion dollar company and you can't figure out a way to look up receipts from one store through another store? GTFOH. UHaul's systems are embarrassing. Staff on site, again, very helpful. Doubt that will continue with the terrible working conditions UHaul creates for them.

The general manager and 2 employees were chatting about another employee who called out and wanted to make up hours one of the 2 women was helping us and kept taking her attention from me to get in their conversations multiple times resulting in multiple errors. I didn’t take coverage on payment kiosk and she accepted it on her side which I didn’t notice resulting in having to us a different card and having to back that transaction back which there was no proof of the 74.00 reversal. Something happens and she has to do it manually still talking to other women resulting in another error and wrong receipt this one say 118.00 estimate which is way off from the 50.00 I estimated. By this time I’m frustrated thinking coming 15 minutes early would get the process going I was there much longer than I planned to be. If the conversation doesn’t involved the customer being helped it shouldn’t be had. I don’t feel I was a priority or focus if I had been I would have had a smooth transaction. Customer service first I have an email saying balance owed where my bank shows 43.06 was paid there is a late fee to occur on the 6th will call location though there is one woman who has no clue what’s going on and has no problem saying she doesn’t I asked if I can pay any difference owed in cash she says ITHINK SO I told her that’s not a clear answer you should be able too why have someone answer phone who doesn’t know how it all works. I’m not sure I’ll have someone else help you or call you back I won’t be using this location in the future I voiced my concern about the errors and chatting and the general manager ignored my comment and continued typing to fix or see what happened

The folks at the location are very friendly and helpful. I give them 5 stars. My complaint is with the corporate U-Haul office. You put locations on your site and claim they have the ability to handle 24/7 truck pick up. This is a gross misrepresentation. I booked the truck through the website and arrived at 6:00 AM as planned to pick it up. I then get the notification that the location does not support this feature. This set me back 2 hours for the day due to traffic and buses and cost me an extra $220 for movers. You need to get your website right. That's false advertising and subject to a federal complaint.

Make sure that you listen to the customer. I explained that I already had an reservation and I reserved the amount on my card. So as a new reservation was made I had to pay with another card now my $55 is on hold for I don't know how long. Makes no sense to me. I needed access to my money.
