I reserved specifically at Semraj as we have a very professional ongoing history. UNFORTUNATELY U-haul decided (without my consent) to send the truck to another location. Perhaps U-haul doesn't understand that i have to PAY for extra miles because they sent the truck to another pickup spot. NOT cool. I selected Semraj because of their location and excellent quality service.

Exterior truck Lights broken, interior dome lights didn’t work, ramp broken, battery died and truck was absolutely terrible and terrible on gas. Averaged 6 miles per gallon. Suspension was terrible so the truck had bad body roll. Breaks made noises the whole time. The truck was a 2008 with 128,000+ miles and several obvious repairs. Time to take the truck off the road. Broke an iPhone using the flashlight feature to finish move because the dome lights in truck didn’t work. Would like a full refund for absolutely terrible experience. Spent $30 on jumper cables, $30 on gas. Took pics of all the trucks documentation and damages and will go the legal route if necessary. Terrible experience. Truck should not be on the road!

Awfully expensive 1.89 per mile 200 dollars just for 1 local round trip Then charged 15dollars for protection when I have insurance that covers then to even make it worse the call me 2 hours saying I am late bringing back I should not be rushed in what I have to do I should be able to have it for 24 hours if wanted to also tried to charge me a fee for being 15 min late . Lastly we put gas in there 3 times of 25 dollars cause he keep saying not enough we only went local and this shouldn’t been that much gas either Ridiculously overpriced will never use again and will tell everyone about this horrible will continue to use enterprise better rates and loyalty and no limit on miles or time nor gas . Will never ever ever use do not recommend rip off .

There were problems with the computer system and I was unable to receive a printed contract or receipt. Otherwise, service was great, the personnel were very apologetic and courteous.

The gas tank was on half of tank when i dropped it off in lancaster pa he told me the contract says ut was 3/4 full and wanted me to pay for the gas or charge my credit card .i explained to him it was only on a half a tank but he agrued with me i walked out please let me know what is going to happen

The U-Haul website is not user friendly after latest update. I made several reservations, most of which were between 30-45 minutes additional from my requested pickup point. I read Semraj's ratings, spoke with him directly, and he arranged a one-way rental for me at his location as I requested. I HIGHLY recommend Semraj for u-haul rentals

My overall experience with U-Haul was dreadful. I had a confirmed reservation to pick up the truck at 7:30 am at one location. With that guarantee and confirmation, I arranged to pick up supplies and have some help meet me at my house to help unload them and begin construction at 9 am. I showed up at that location only to find that my reservation was moved to a different location, 5 -10 miles away. I went there, only to learn that they didn't have any trucks there for me either. Finally, they found one available 10 - 15 miles away from there. So...after running all over creation for an hour and a half, I finally had my truck at 9:30 am, but still had to pick up supplies and return home at 11 am. The workers at the location where I was finally able to rent the truck had no way to compensate me for the inconvenience, my additional costs, or anything else, although I had been told at one of the other places that they could waive the mileage fee without any problem (miles do not cost that much, although the charge was .80 cents per mile with no miles free). There was no support for the employee there, there was no support for me. I am still furious over the poor treatment that I received .

He has the best rate and service. He also offered the use of hand trucks and pads. Will use them again if I need a truck even if its a little more out the way. Better service always gets a return customer and he had the better service.

First off I booked my reservation for a different location only to find out last minute when I get there that it was sent to another location in which the new location never called me to let me know anything so I get there (keep in mind I booked and paid for my rental in full online) and was told I owe $14.83 for what?????? Because they took it upon themselves to add the renter's insurance in which I declined online as I always do with all my u-haul bookings then when I asked them to take it off (even calling cooperate) they were unable to so I was "forced" yes forced to pay for something I did not want....so no I will not be renting with u-haul anymore. Quite frankly it's incidents like this that makes a business lose their most loyal customers.

I did not request to pick up the truck at this location. It was originally in Southampton-which is closer to my house; I did not know about the change of location until I logged in to get truck at He Southampton location. My email that was sent to me said I would pick up in Southampton but when I allowed my phone to access location I was noted I was not at the right location. I had to drive 7.9 miles to pick up the truck. I picked the original ocation because it would be less mileage since you charge for miles; but now you made me go to another location farther away and would need to pay for more mileage When I got here I was checking in via phone and was asked to give a phone number for someone to call-this has nothing to do with me renting the truck and get with the day-no one answers their phone unless they know who it is. I was checking in for 30 minutes then I went in to talk with someone. He was helpful. When I got in to start the truck it wouldn’t start. He said they made a duplicate key and needed to wiggle it up and down to start it. I arrived at my location and found out that there was no ramp to the 10 ft truck only 15 foot or larger. You tell me how I am supposed to move furniture if here is no ramp? So I returned the truck to the pick up but I was still charged for renting a truck that had difficulty turning the key to start several times; no ramp; and I paid for extra mileage that I should not have had to pay if I would have gone to the original location; and I was unable to use the truck without a ramp and returned within 2 hours of picking it up. There also was no availability for a larger truck at that location.

This was the absolute worst experience, I scheduled a truck over 3 weeks ago on line, I called the day before pick up to confirm. I scheduled movera based on this schedule. I went to pick up truck and called as I was on my way, and was told the truck was moved to another location. And we had been failed to be notified, this added, time that I didnt have traveling between locations, but cost me additional money. I called and spoke to the manager at the Burlington facility on Connecticut drive, and she hung up on me after I expressed my anger, and picked up and hung up when I called her back, I believe her name was Christine. I called and spoke to one of the reps in scheduling, who said they where discounting the trip, but I can tell you, I will be reviewing you online on all forums and explaining how horrible your service is and how limited you are at helping, when you fail. Feel free to contact me and try and change my mind.

I ended up dealing directly with this gentleman. After reserving on line I received texts and calls from other locations even though I had specified Semraj. In the future I will call the specific vendor I want instead of doing an on line reservation.

Owner and employees were professional and courteous, especially when I thought I had lost my car keys when I relinquished the truck. Sensitive to my dilemma, offered to take me home to get my other set of keys. True gentlemen; sent me home with a can of danish cookies to ease my tensions.
