The truck drove horrible, somethingwrong with brakes and steering. We reserved furniture dolly/cart as well as utility dolly and a box dolly.. ....oh we don't have them here.. reservation was made a week prior.....customer service was not the best.

1st I was suppose to pick up in warner Robin's ga 10miles from my home 45mins prior to pick up Was sent to Macon, 25 miles from home. Got there and no one there had a 30 min additional wait.
Sheila CI had originally scheduled my rental with another location, but was informed the night before that my rental had been moved to different neighborhood dealer. I tried to confirm this with the new location, but no one answered their phone and did not return my call when messages were left. I even tried to call the Area Manager but was unable to leave a message because his voicemail box is full! I then called an actual U-Haul Moving and Storage location (rather than a neighborhood location) and was told that my rental had been switched to a 24/7 rental and that I needed to download the U-Haul App and process my rental via the App. A 24/7 rental is not what I wanted, as I would have preferred to rent through an actual person but it was too late to try and switch my rental. I spent over an hour the night before my pickup getting everything set up on my phone via the App so that when I arrived at my pickup location, things would be quicker. I left my home not really knowing if I was going to have a truck to pick up when I arrived since no one called me back regarding this rental change. When we arrived at our pickup time of 10:00, the truck was locked up behind a gate that we did not have access to. We waited for about 15 minutes hoping that someone would show up. When that didn't happen, we called the number that was on the businesses marque and when we talked with the person who answered the phone she said, "that they were aware of the rental and that someone would be there in the next 15-20 minutes." 30 minutes later, someone finally showed up. He told us that "he does not open until noon and that he is not a 24/7 rental site." The truck was filthy inside, there was only a quarter of a tank of gas (we returned it with a half tank of gas) and there were many boxes that were left in the back of the truck, some of which had rotting food in them which caused there to be ants all over the inside of the truck. We had to stop and pick up ant killer. All of this delay caused us to be 1.5 hours late to where we needed to be. This is unacceptable and the worst experience I have ever had when renting from U-Haul!
