Unit was not ready when I showed up to pick it up. Snow covered with the back door frozen shut. I was left to pull the unit out myself and had to go back in and ask them to pull me out as the truck would not clear the snow drift in front of it. Got overcharged for gas when I returned the unit with slightly more fuel than when I picked it up. Truck barely started the next morning as well. I am pleased that they gave me a few blankets to use at no charge, which would have earned a good rating had the basics been completed.

KRISTY DTo U-Haul head office - instead of sending threatening messages to your customers about your records showing an unreturned unit, call your agent first to verify that the unit had not been returned. In my case, I had returned the trailer on time on the date specified in the contract, yet due to a problem with your computer system, you made the false assumption that I had stolen the trailer. Nonsense! I do not appreciate receiving threatening e-mails when the problem was yours, not mine. An apology would be nice.
