I reserved a truck over a month in advance. I asked for a location pick up in MT Laurel, NJ. I was contacted two days prior and advised that I’d have to pick it up in Woodbury, NJ, 30 min away. When I get to Uhaul in woodbury, the truck isn’t available. They first ask if I’d go to Philadelphia, PA for a truck, I declined. You then found a truck in Maple Shade, NJ. 30 min back the same direction I started from! I shouldn’t have to drive around the world to pick up a truck that I reserve over a month ahead of time!!

Give us a truck with more gas to start and without the battery and check engine light on. The truck rode terribly and the manager was not at all helpful upon return. We reserved a truck at one location and were routed to Maple Shade this morning. From start to finish this was not a pleasant place to work with.

I would never recommend this location to a friend. Within a mile from leaving the location, the truck broke down. We went back and they gave me the option to: call their roadside assistance to fix the truck and bring it back, attempt to drive back the broken uHaul to their lot, or pay for another truck and they reimburse once the broke down U-Haul was fixed. What a way to ruin a move in day on a tight schedule! Instead of a simple apology, we just heard, “That never happens. That never happens.” No one cares about what never happens, show empathy for when it does happen!!! I was told I would get a callback once the cab initially broke down. The woman said she would call right back no call, which prompted my driving up there in my own car. Upon having to drive a overheated uHaul back to their lot, which put myself in danger, I was told they wouldn’t charge me for the 1 mile I put on the van. Why would you??? I didn’t get anything done and you took an hour out of my day. What an inconvenience? I brought back my second uHaul and the woman who said she would call me back said, “so I actually did call you at 12:11 and 12:13. I checked the caller ID.” My mouth literally dropped. If I said I didn’t get the call, I didn’t. Why would I lie and why would you try to fight me on it? All this company did was take $5 off of the ride. What did that help? Nothing. Taking this to social media.
