Confusing as instruction at U-Haul app was not clear. Drop box was not clearly indicated and hidden beside a 20” U-Haul truck. Was not able to locate truck location efficiently as it was not parked by other vehicle.

My truck was not setup. My original location was on 100 Steels Ave. When I arrived and tried to proceed with check in, I got an error and had to contact customer service via chat and called them too to see where I got a quicker response as I had to drive a long distance. I got an answer on the chat, however I was transferred 2 times, chatted with 3 different people to be told that my truck, that I reserved weeks ago, was not set and my options were to book for another day or try in a different location, in this case, 44 Riviera Dr. Which was 20 mins driving from where I was.and it was a bigger truck that I didn't need , but that was my only option and I had to take it. The truck cost me $dollars on gas, of course, it was bigger, plus it didn't have the clothes nor the dolly I had originally booked. It was a total mess that became a nightmare as the missing items were needed to handle and protect my furniture. I am so frustrated for all the time spent, the additional distance I had to drive, the extra money spent and not to mention the awful experience with customer service. I save all the screenshots from the chat I had to be shared with you. By the way, I spent over 45 minutes on the phone as I was chatting with the rep and my call got disconnected when answered. K can't believe U-haul provides such level of service.
Ricardo SThe truck was clean, but the window had been left open and water filled the door hand cup. The location provided a cloth to soak this up. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Peter OLocation is too small. Big concern is using U-Haul mobile app to return rental truck after store hours. Mobile app is not user friendly, less instruction details, some features for return steps are not functioning at all. Mobile app needs to improve for sure in order to gain more users. Thanks.
