Because when I told him about what was going on with the truck they did not do anything about it but telling me I said had to put gas and I'm telling them the truck need a tune-up the truck need an alignment and they still it won't give me none of my money back

Other than my husband putting in $80 worth of gas for a 75 mile trip, I guess that was our mistake because the tank only had 1/8 of a tank. The truck was promised for 10am, I called at 8:30 am and the truck was available. We picked up the truck about 9-930am.

Where do I start? So I initially made a reservation online for a 15 inch truck for 12pm which was the time available. Get to the facility prior to 12pm the truck hasnâ€™t been returned, the guy at the counter offered no help what so ever. There is a rental guarantee or they give you 50 dollars. Guess what itâ€™s a lie! Because we were so pressed for time we decided to wait because we were told that the person who rented it prior would be back in 30-45 minutes. We waited an hour actually still UHaul offered no resolution for the time wasted and the fact that we made a reservation prior. Finish moving before the time allotted and brought back the truck, guess what not only do they lie about the rental reservation guarantee but they also over charged. I received a second hand 40 dollar charge after paying the cost of the rental and mileage in full. I wish I could say please stay away from this company but theyâ€™re a monopoly and when you need to move youâ€™re desperate. Do not go to the marrero u-haul they have the most incompetent staff Iâ€™ve ever seen.

After confirming my reservation 2 times the day before, the pick up location could not find my rental. After 20 min. and 2 phone calls involving the mgr . , who claims she was the District manager, to a corporate line. The DM manage to find my reservation. This was all after she claimed 1) the reservation was only a reservation and they did not have the rental . 2) me showing her my text and my confirmation after logging into my online acct., then stated that the rental truck was not dropped off yet for my reservation. I had a 7 am pick up and they open at 7 am. How would that even be possible . Please keep in mind this was after I confirmed my reservation twice the day before. For a DM, she showed little empathy for my situation our proof in hand . Even telling me that the person I spoke with at Uhaul Dispatch was a person sitting somewhere in their living room and did not have a clue of the inventory held at her location . Only after begging her to call to help me out since my ride already left me , did she finally find the truck which was there all the time!!!!

WORST PLACE TO RENT FROM! Never explain anything and end up getting a $600 charge from them and when you try to get an explanation for the charges, they send you back and forth. WORST EXPERIENCE! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!
