The vehicle had no washer fluid in it which we didn't realize until we were driving through snow miles from anywhere to purchase any. This should have been checked prior to renting it out. The wiper blades were in poor condition and very difficult to see when roads were wet. We drove almost 3000km mostly in inclement weather. There was garbage in the door pockets from previous renters and the back had debris that hadn't been swept out although there was a sign saying $25 would be charged in not returned broom swept. I cleaned it. The interior was also not very cleanPaul C.

Very disappointed in our experience this time . What we had booked and pd for wasn't even available so we had to settle for a different 4yr2 trailer. Then the day of pickup the office wasn't even open . Had to call a number and wait for someone to come to serve us . Only to find out then that the dolly we had booked to use wasn't available either. No effort was made to get a dolly either . Called the office and they discounted us and added an extra day . Which was good but no more than they ought to do as it was their mistake booking things that they didn't even have . Drop off in Gander was good the placee was open and a guy came out and acknowledged the drop off . Something needs to be done with the online booking system so these things don't happen anymore . Booking and paying good money for things isn't easy in these high price times but when you need it you should be able to rely on the services you have booked . When I dropped off the uhaul I rented I was unable to complete the self service drop off service on the uhaul website due to issues with the website. I contacted uhaul to make them aware of this issue. I then sent pictures to them to confirm I dropped of the uhaul on time in proper condition. At the drop off location, Rugged Terrain, the representative had issues closing out my return due to the same issues I experienced. After 4 days of not hearing from them, I decided to call to double check the rerun had been processed. I was then informed that I was being charged for 2 extra days rental of the uhaul even though the trailer had been returned on time and was in their parking lot for those 2 days. I'm assuming this was because the representative had issues closing out my return. Nevertheless, no one could reimburse me these charges until I spoke with a supervisor, who did issue me a refund in the end. Overall, there was a lack of communication and was not a smooth process to return it.Rodney D.
