There was no one there when I went to pick up the truck even though the hours indicated there should have been. Having to use the app from start to finish was exhausting and too much! After a 4 day festival no one wants to stay onsite just so GPS can confirm that the truck has been returned. Next time I will go to a location that guarantees a live person be onsite.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkWas told when I reserved I was required to receive a call from regional office due to hours of operation. Never received. As such, called the location twice the day prior to rental to confirm booking was in order and available. Got an answering service both times and no call back either time, so was completely unsure of whether my rental would be available or not when it was time to go pick up. Even though business was supposed to be open when I arrived, it was not. Other customers and I waited for someone to arrive and they never did. Fortunately, another customer who had done this before came to get their rental and we all figured out what we needed to do. Very frustrating. No human interaction whatsoever - and that was clear in looking at the truck that had not been cleaned between customers.
Dan FThey are looking for ways to make extra money off you. If your gas is even slightly off they will slap a charge on as though it were returned empty. The guy offered to let me put more gas in, but told me just before the Uber driver arrived to pick me up.
Margaret WSmelled like smoke inside and he tried to waive some fees and have me keep the truck until Monday because the storage unit I rented was occupied but stuff they didn’t know was in there. Causing us to waste more gas. This whole thing was my worse experience with uHaul ever and the most I’ve ever spent for a stupid rental truck!
