Lance was a great help when I needed a truck in short notice. Truck was clean and ready to go and worked very well. The unpaved lot where the truck was located was a bit messy after recent rain.JAMES C.
Worst uhaul experience ever. I think I may change to 2 men and a truck next time that is how bad it was. When I arrived it was 8:50 AM and the website was not recognizing my phone number. I walked down to the trailer that is the office for this location. The blonde larger built woman had just gotten there and I was explaining that the website was not recognizing anything, she said none of her systems were up yet and I had to wait until 9 when they opened.... in 10 mins....I asked her if she could put her mask on in the middle of the conversation (per roy cooper NC governor's laws you must wear a mask in public and we were within 3 feet of each other) she said she didn't have a mask on her... how do you not come to work without having a mask? She didn't even apologize for not having one. I told her I would go outside and talk to the maintenance manager if she didn't have a mask. This tall black man was a little rude and didn't seem to want to help me at first but at the end of the conversation helped me more than the woman did -- he ALSO did not have a mask. I walked up to get my key because my online check in finally took my phone number and I was sent to a chat link with a uhaul rep to assist me. Mind you at this point I had been outside for 20 mins in 32 degree weather..waiting to get into this truck because your employee didn't own a mask and was in the uhaul office. NEXT I finally got in the truck and it was disgusting..... There was coffee syrup everywhere on the dash and sunshades, there was some mystery liquid all over the heads and there was mudd in the bottom of the drivers side AND there was a missing air vent. SOO not only did no one wear masks, I had to wait forever to get into the truck even though I paid the night before, I also was given a truck that was dirty not cleaned and clearly on its last leg. I feel scammed for had paid $136 for this service.Mckensie J.

Check out took awhile over the web site. Also, I feel like I was overcharged. I only went 21 miles and it cost me $70.00 plus bucks. I paid $50.00 up front to include insurance. Water leakage from door at back. Blankets got wet along with a mark on dresser from wetness. Also hand truck dolly strap was ripped several inches of broke would damage items. Ovisly they did not inspect it before it was rented...Frank M.
I couldn't check in my vehicle at 4:15 pm on 12/31/20. TRIED ON LINE AND TRIED THE CALL CENTER FOR LOSE TO AN HOUR WITH NO LUCK. REQUEST A REIMBURSEMENT OF ONE DAY RENTAL SINCE UHAUL WAS CLOSED ON 1/1/21 at location. I agreed to pay for one extra day but due to no response from customer care at the 800 number and my on line account didn't have my order, I was forced to pay for a day not called for. My experience was professional friendly and simple I was greeted with a smile. Even though it was alittle busy at the time he handled me and the other customers with ease.
