I'd originally booked a truck at another location. When I arrived there, they did not have any trucks available. I was able to get a van nearby. Your online booking system needs to be updated to give customers a message about when a truck/equipment is not available well ahead of time. Having a piece of equipment unavailable when the customer thinks it will be leads to bad customer experiences.

(1) Provide Emmy backup keys for all vehicles; provide Emmy a tool to open vehicles without keys (2) Provide Emmy clean packages of blankets -- had to travel to Falls Church twice for clean blankets to rent and others to buy -- Falls Church reduced rental from one day to two because of the extra trouble

The manager, Emmy, tried charging me 5.6 gal of fuel ($22.40) for driving 2.18 (odometer) miles. The website advertises the vehicles gets 10 miles per gal. This would mean I drove 56 miles. The odometer doesn't lie. She was rude, unethical, and very unprofessional. Also she was late opening the store at 10am. Her supervisor, Bradley, was completely professional and awesome to deal with regarding my issue.

The facilities were okay, but just barely. I usually prefer to use a dedicated U-Haul facility, but chose this location because of convenience. Although my experience with the truck was rough (no keys, blocked in by a van), the regional representative (?), Bradley made things right. It was the most frustrating U-Haul experience I have had, but certainly not enough to prevent me from using U-Haul again. Bradley made it better.

We are requesting a $50 credit given the botched process for our pickup. We originally went to your Falls Church location for a confirmed 7:30 a.m. appointment, but then they sent us to McLean because they did not have a truck. We went to your Spring Hill location, but it did not open until 9. So we had to wait for 1.5 hours. In the meantime, our movers were waiting at home to load the truck. We had to pay them for this additional time. For the next customer, make sure you understand when your other locations open and communicate that to your customers. This was a break down in your central organization process.

McLean Storage has provided 6 trucks for our mulch fund raising event each of the past 6 years. They have always done a superb job. Very dependable and pro-active. When Northern Virginia U-Haul would not deliver the trucks from Leesburg and other locations, McLean Storage got their own drivers to go pick up the trucks to take them to McLean. I highly recommend them.

Poor customer service. Reserved equipment not available despite reservation in advance. Spent a lot of time settling final bill as system was down and more so because the lady at desk was arrogant and unprofessional.

I was appauled by the behavior of the woman who manages this location. She was rude, disrespectful and arrogant. She cussed at me, using lots of profanity, and constantly tried talk over me. She tried to commit fraud; I caught her on it. She tried over charging me for something I never authorized her to; added insurance payment for the vehicle I was renting. Thankfully, I questioned her about why I was being charged so much at the time if payment, and was able to figure out the discrepancy. Needless to say; I am the paying customer...... She gets paid for performing customer service, right? This woman had not a care in the world for customer service whatsoever. She needs to be terminated. She's a horrible liability to the company if uhaul. I will never use uhaul again because of the experience I had with get. Her name was Emmy Chase. I will never refer uhaul or its affiliates to any of my friends, family, or business. Good day.

The lady who was servicing the front desk that day (February 25 2018) was drinking on the job and was also very unfriendly. It stank slightly of tobacco and liquor when I first entered the front desk building to get the keys. She REEKED of alcohol by the time I came back to drop off the truck, and she was banging on my window and abrasively yelling at me to hurry up and park the truck so she could go home.

Pls make sure equipment is clean and supplies reserved online are available. If not let customers know before they show up. They are already dealing with the stress of moving and do not need service inconsistencies from Uhaul.

I walked in to make reservation several days in advance. You should allow doing all the basic paperwork with drivers license, credit card, etc at time of reservation; because then picking up vehicle on Satruday morning its crazy busy and have to wit in line again.

My rating for the equipment is only bc there was a crack in the windshield. The van drove well and I had no problems otherwise. The gentleman who got the rental papers together for me was great, however, I gave the poor rating for the establishment overall bc some lady called me after 10pm to basically yell at me for not parking in one of their parking spots (of which they only had a few). I parked the van opposite the parking spots bc all of the spots were taken. I did not see anywhere else where I could park it unless I blocked someone's personal storage space. The van was on the other side of the driveway without blocking anything and I put the key in the key drop bc it was after hours. This woman left a nasty message and when I called her back she complained about stupid people who couldn't park and how she had to deal with police. Not sure why the police were involved unless there was some ordinance that governed their personal property. The moral of the story is that since this has clearly happened before, they should advise renters where to park if all the parking spaces are full and the office is closed. This way customers can avoid nasty phone calls--who calls customers and yells at them anyway? I still don't know who the woman was. She never identified herself or her position.

The parking is impossible. The woman in the front office was extremely rude, opened late, treated me as if I were an inconvenience. When I returned the truck there was no where to park it as the one spot available had vehicles on either side that had parked over the line. When I told her I was not comfortable trying to get the truck into that spot she rolled her eyes at me and refused to provide a receipt until the truck could be parked. I informed her I was happy to attempt if an actual full spot were available... overall very stressful experience. I will surely not use this location in the future nor would I recommend it to others. This is my second negative experience with your brand in recent time, seems to be a lot of inconsistency across your franchised locations.
