I am not satisfied with the lady at the front desk. 1. I didn't order the SafeMove insurance when I made the reservation, but it appeared in my bill. 2. The lady at the front desk told me she won't let me use a newer truck (which appears on my contract already) when I checked in and gave me an old one instead.

I did not have a option to leave the truck at a closer location to my new move

The lady that was there when I dropped off was a very rude. Chewed me out for dropping off early after I had called u haul and told them I had no where to park so I needed to drop off early. This is the location they told me to take u haul too. Very disappointed in this location. Never will I rent with u haul again.!!!!!

To corporate UHaul: Stop the paranoia-marketing of insurance. It creates a distrustful environment with customers and feels like a set-up to gouge additional fees if you don't buy. It made me very concerned that every nick on the van needed to be documented, evidence of return condition needed to be documented, and concerned when I was not checked out immediately on return. It is obvious UHaul is augmenting customer fears and trying to increase profit by increasing insurance sales, whether it's needed or not. I will avoid UHaul. The process left a bad taste in my mouth.

No one there at 2:10pm for help. Where if I could get my key back, I could have taken a picture of the fuel and mileage

I was unhappy that the pick up was so far from my house, but it ended up working out.

The staff was not very helpful and had a bad attitude. I would not return to this location.

Absolutely worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Not only did it take 40 minutes in the pouring rain for our information to be approved, but the lockbox was broken. Instead, after three separate calls, we had a woman come out from the storage area, scream bloody murder at us, unlock it, and scream at us more about how stupid and idiotic we are (although she wouldn’t attempt the lock box either, but used a master key). I have NEVER been treated like this by any business (or frankly anyone in general). My mother and I were and are frankly aghast about the treatment we received. I am so unbelievably disappointed by u-haul and how they treat their customers.

We had a satisfactory experience when renting the truck. The customer before me, did not return the truck on time, and caused us to be late for the pickup, which is not the particular location’s fault. The customer service agent who rented the truck to us was friendly and professional. While I reserved a dolly initially, when I arrived at the location, I decided I did not need the dolly originally requested, and simply took the two bags of furniture pads and the truck. Our day of moving was in the pouring rain, and we ended up only using two furniture pads which were taped to cover a large mirror for transportation. I did notice the sign inside the truck to fold the blankets upon return, as we were rushing to finish the move on time due to the delayed start, and the 4” of rain under siege in Washington, D.C. Upon return, I was contacted by a different customer service agent who was extremely combative and accused me of not returning the dolly and that blankets were missing, blankets were returned unfolded, and that I would be held liable for the missing equipment. I calmly explained to her that I never had the dolly in my possession, and she should ask her colleague about the dolly. She then proceeded to yell at me and say that she had to now throw away the towels with the tape on them because they were not folded and I was negligent in folding them. She first told me the blankets were worth $7 each, and I would be responsible for the payment, and that a second bag was also missing. I asked her why she wa so upset with me, and she seemed to be very incensed that I had missed the sign. She said if I wanted to return and remove the tape and fold the blankets I would not be charged. In an effort to calm her down, I questioned how much the blankets would cost and apologized for not noticing the sign. I also commented that I did not believe it necessary to throw away the blankets in her possession, as they had simply covered a mirror for a short trip across town. She said for not noticing the sign, I would be charged $25. I told her I would be fine with that charge, although I did not have any other blankets and requested she look in the truck again for the second bag. She said she would call me back if she did not find the bag and after she confirmed with her colleague that he did not rent me the dolly. I never received a call back, and later received my electronic receipt with no additional charges and no further inquiries or accusations about missing property. I was completely taken aback by this woman’s behavior and demeanor when dealing with a customer. She could have contacted me and inquired about the charges, while politely informing me that I had neglected to follow company policy and would be charged a fee. I would have accepted the fee in that case. I am a local government employee and would have recommended this business to the myriad of colleagues in the area who also are in need of temporary rental vehicles. I wi

1) Service vehicles 0 the one I rented had an very loud alarm that sounded over and over while driving. When I returned it, the office said previous customer reported same problem but they had not serviced it yet. It was so loud, my ears and my daughter's hearing was damaged. It was dangerous and scary. 2) Credit Card machine didn't work. This made the transaction process take an inordinate amount of time. I arrived before the location early, before it opened. But I still waited in line for an hour before being helped once the office opened due to the slow processing of each customer. 3) I was overcharged. My credit card was charged for 3 days of use when I actually returned the truck the same day I rented it.

Agent did not acknowledge me upon arrival and once he finished with another customer, he left the office w/o an explanation as to when he would be back to assist me, etc.

Would be better if trucks already faced Spring Hill Road when picking them up. It is difficult to turn around to drive back out. Also the road by the storage has large potholes and especially narrow when people parked using the storage units. Love the location and Emi at front desk was very helpful, efficient and pleasant.

Well the staff were very nice, equipment was great, but extremely hard to get in/out of the lot!! Very high risk of accidental damage to uhaul equipment . Not for the faint of heart...
