The ACE employees weren't terribly knowledgeable about the equipment and did not offer to help hook it up to the truck (including verifying operational lights) or look at trailer before leaving.

Enterred store to be told that the Uhaul system was down and we could not get our prebooked rental truck. Then told that WE would have to call Uhaul directly. After a call was placed to Uhaul Corporate and the regional manager the store manager was able to get into the Uhaul booking system. So much confusion and horrible customer service.
Louis LIt's just concerning that the vehicle had numerous dents, scratches and other things that were wrong that made me worry about being liable but the location and the individuals running this Rental process work great!
Rick BNot sure why U-Haul wanted me to pick up trailer over 15 miles away. I booked at the McFarland location listed in this survey, when I arrived I was told to go to the Atlas location which was strange as the McFarland location had the trailer I reserved. I refused and told the Ace employee to cancel my reservation if I couldn’t have the trailer. The Ace Hardware employee called someone at U-Haul and said they had the trailer and wanted to switch my reservation to this location. The Ace hardware employee was fantastic and got the trailer secured for this location. Very happy with Ace Hardware, not as pleased with U-haul
CHAD WThe staff at ACE Hardware 663 was great. I'm a dinosaur, so doing anything involving technology is a challenge (imho). They helped me navigate the check-in process on my phone, so all went smoothly.
