The U-Haul mobile check-in and check-out app is a complete frustration. The process is unnecessarily long, tedious, and feels like it was designed with no regard for efficiency. The worst part is the constant failures when uploading the required photos of the vehicle — the app either freezes, times out, or forces you to start over. What should take a few minutes drags on endlessly, often requiring multiple attempts just to get through. A system meant to streamline rental pickup and return should not create more stress than it solves. Instead of saving time, this app wastes it. U-Haul seriously needs to revisit the design and functionality of this tool. Reducing redundant steps to ensuring the photo upload feature actually works. Until then, expect delays, frustration, and a poor user experience every time you try to use it.
