The gas gauge did not work properly. The vehicle had a quarter of a tank and I needed to return it to 1/2 tank, so when filling, I turned the key on without starting the vehicle. As I filled the vehicle I watched to gas gauge which was not moving well and then all of sudden it jumped to full. I could have gotten away with $20 of gas, instead I put in $66.
