Had an 8am rental but the keys were not put in the lockbox for us so we had to wait until 9am for the shop to open to get the keys. The check in and check out process is also very cumbersome and takes longer than expected. The app did not work for check in so I had to call customer service. The support person I spoke with was very helpful so I definitely want to give kudos to her. The cabin of the truck had leftover takeout with food still in it. I had thrown it away before realizing I needed to take a photo, but it was clearly not cleaned out after the prior use. Truck ran fine, no issue there. Overall I was not very happy with the experience. Will look for alternatives in the future most likely.
Nicholas LThis place is a dive...the parking area is disgusting and overgrown. Next to impossible to get the pictures I needed for check in. The store itself stunk and when I walked in the people in there made me feel like I wasn't welcomed. Terrible experience...and on top of that, my booking was changed multiple times and the final place it told me to pick up was not correct and I wasted about 30 minutes. Worst Uhaul experince of my life.
DIMITRIOS SPoorly run Company did not complete the required work on their end to allow for us to use the 24hr pickup app Truck was not ready until more than 1.5hrs later than the reserves time I had to make multiple phone calls to UHaul to finally get our truck ready on that day The local dealer also did NOT contact us ahead of time as promised by UHaul I called late on the day before pickup to verify our truck (since they had not called me) and he only asked if ai had a reservation (did not ask for # or any other info) and he just said that If I have a reservation, then he would have the truck
TIMOTHY RI am writing to report several problems with my recent U‑Haul reservation: My confirmed pickup location was changed without my approval. The truck I reserved was given to someone else, and I was assigned a larger truck I did not request. The new pickup location was significantly farther away, adding time and inconvenience. U‑Haul’s corporate website was down (site says this happens ever weekend), which caused a one‑hour delay in picking up the vehicle. The truck I received was not cleaned and had only a half tank of gas at pickup. These issues caused unnecessary delays, additional travel, and a poor rental experience. I am requesting appropriate compensation, such as a partial refund or credit, to reflect the inconvenience and the failure to provide the service as reserved.
