I made a reservation and it was given away. This place is severely under staffed and the staff they do have is poorly trained. I waited in line for 20 minutes just to speak with someone.

Faster service



After loading the 26ft truck completely packed it rained before I left my driveway. The entire inside of the uhaul leaked and basically rained inside the truck soaking my furniture and brand new uhaul boxes and blankets. After callit. Customer service being hung up on and transferred to every possible department I hadnto resolve issue in my own and I load entire truck then pick up a non Damaged truck and then reload again. This experience was HELL!

Would not rent trailer because right turn signal was out on pigtail. I get that you guys have rules, but it was after my house flooded from Irma and I was trying to return some dehumidifiers to Orlando. Of all the incompetent people I have dealt with in the past, to find a guy doing his job correctly that day was a hassle.

It would be great if the price quoted on the website at time of reservation matched the actual price. $45 is not the same as $110. I was put in a tight spot and feel like I got taken advantage of. Typical corporate bullshit.

So, I kept the truck an extra day from the original contract. you charged me an extra $200. What I should have done was brought the truck back, got another one for 20 or 30 dollars. What a way to treat your customers. When I asked the guy at check out about it, all he could do is give me a blank stare.



the most incompetent group I have dealt with.....wasted 4 hours trying ot rent a auto tow trailer on Thursday Sept.14th because they waited until AFTER they mounted me trailer to check the lighting connection and determine that my auto tow package on my car did not heave a lighting hook up. Told me I would have to come back on Friday 9/15 pay $155 to get wiring installed. The install person would be there at 8 AM...when I arrived there at 7:45 AM Friday I was informed that he would be there at 9 AM....They finished getting me out at 1;30 PM. cost my son 2 days work because he was toeing my car from Melbourne to Miami (4 hours ) My Invoice numbers are: 93390579.....93361674....93443533

I came early to reserve my truck at 7:30 am on Saturday. Returned to pick it up and reservation was gone. Halfway through a new reservation, another employee came and took the new truck assigned. I felt bad for the employee helping me, it must have been his first day. I also found it I was going to be charged $25 dollars when I returned because a few of the blankets I rented were not folded. Through the whole experience I was most upset that the employees didn't care that they were wasting time and even laughed about the hassle in front of me.

It would be nice if the tanks were full to start. I stopped for gas twice to make sure I was returning with the same amount. I started with under 1/2 tank



I have to say, I have done business with Uhaul numerous times, and will continue in the future; however, the location on Harbor City Blvd. (US-1) in Melbourne, FL will never see me again. It was the attitude of the manager. One of his associates did not give me accurate information on return options for the pick up truck I rented. I tried to return the pick up to a different location to discover that pick ups/cargo vans were leased, not owned, by Uhaul and they required return to the location they were picked up. The gentleman at the Babcock St. Palm Bay, FL location wrote on my contract that I would not be charged the additional mileage and fuel costs associated with returning to the US-1 location because of the lack of disclosure upon receipt of the agreement terms. She even acknowledged her mistake and the manager still made me pay the additional mileage with a small discount on fuel only due to the demand of fuel for evacuation from hurricane Irma. Again, it wasn't so much the reasoning, it was his attitude. As a manager myself, I am expected to uphold professionalism and customer empathy, especially if one of my associates make mistakes. Very disappointed in this transaction overall.

The person behind the counter was a chatty Kathy, it took forever for him to complete a transaction because he couldn't talk and work at the same time. I heard story of bosses being mad about no propane sign, heard story of his son who lives in rockledge wanting a ride because it was raining and he was on his scooter. then he couldn't remember what name the contract was under so he could print contract, while tryng to figure it out he was texting on his phone. At this very stressful time preparing for hurricane irma, he should have been efficient and helpful. I will never go back to that location, I'll stick with penske from now on.

Very understaffed and the one employee (in addition to the franchise owner) was untrained and inexperienced. Certainly not the new employee's fault. It took almost an hour to get a trailer rented.

I had to wait well over 45 minutes in line just to get the pick up truck and it wasn't even credited back to me when I returned it. When I returned it I had to wait another 50 minutes. I never got the dolly that I had to pay for. This location is incredibly understaffed and none of the work can be automated. The staff is not properly trained.

Rented a 26 ft truck. It was old and not well maintained. Change oil light came on less than 200 miles into a 2,000 mile trip. Checked oil and added 2 qts. A/C compressor quit working in GA. Drove more than 1,500 miles in 90 degree weather with no a/c. Reported problem to uhaul roadside assistance, but on a holiday weekend they couldn't do anything for me. Very uncomfortable trip.

I had a truck reserved for 9am at one location closest to me so that I didn't have to go extra miles that I had to pay for due to the customer service not knowing how to fill out paper work because a power outage and no one informed me. The other location of hat I rented the truck from knew how to fill our paperwork just in case of a sudden power failure. So renting the truck cost more than I wanted to pay.
