The black rep who was wearing a "I love Dominican Republic" I extremey rude and he acted like he did not want to be there. When I asked him to go over my bill since I did not have my glassses. He waved me off like he was swatting a fly murmuring, "its on the bill." He then motioned for next customer. I just stood there and he ignored me. I was shocked I was treated that way.He was rude and very unprofessional. I have rented from U-Haul for years from all over this country. I HAVE never been treated like this. I am a 63 old professional Black woman. I expected more from this unprofessional black male. I will NOT be back and will tell others how I was treated. Other issues..... 1)The van smelled like sweat. 2)I never received the so called text for me to indicate what dings or issues I saw with the van before I left I waited 20 minutes and mentioned it twice.STEPHANIE C.

I booked labor through uhaul's website, but they never showed up. I asked to talk to the center manager when I returned the truck, but was told he would have to call me back. I left a business card. He has not called. The truck's accelerator is very abrupt and causes the truck to lurch, so it was not usable to move furniture anyway.JAMES B.

This is a great location and always helpful. Only one thing happened Was told my trailer was ready. I rented a dolly also. Got home and no dolly in trailer. They checked me out etc but did not put it on or bring it out before I left. Unlike them to forget that as they are usually on point always.David P.
It took more than an hour to complete the transaction and get the truck I reserved because of technical issues with the computer systems inside. Tax Exempt Form was not honored because I did not put it in during the reservation and their system was unable to apply no tax at the time of checkout. I reserved a Cargo Van over a week ahead of time and when my driver got there to pick it up all they had were 20 ft. trucks. Our establishment does business with Uhaul all of the time and for me to make the reservation this far ahead of time and not receive even close to what we ordered is ridiculous. I am very unsatisfied with your commitment to your reservations. We will be finding another business to rent our vans from if this is how you treat your customers. Unacceptable!robert R.

I made my reservation online weeks in advance, and had the choice to do everything on my own phone, or be checked in at the location. I chose to be checked in at the location and reserved my pick up for the earliest possible time, which was 7 A.M. We arrived around 7:05, and the location was locked. We eventually knocked when we didn't see anyone outside. I told the man who finally answered the door that I had scheduled a 7 A.M. pick up. He snapped: "I don't do anything at 7 A.M. I don't rent out trucks at that time." That was confusing, considering that pickup time was an option online, which I told him. He refused to do anything to help us and told me I needed to go through the process on the phone, though he had looked up and confirmed my reservation on the computer. He repeatedly told me that my truck would have been ready if I'd just done everything on my phone. After about the 3rd time he said this, I told him that I had selected the option to be checked in at the store, the same way I've done the last 2 times I booked a moving truck. He then told us to go around the back of the store to find our truck ourselves, which was blocked by a trailer that he seemed even more annoyed to have to move. He then told the man I was with, not me, that I should have taken care of all of this on my phone. I asked him to move the trailer so we could leave, as, by that time, we had been standing around while he did nothing to help us, and it was now 7:45. I have never received such poor treatment at any U-Haul location. Never. The man working the morning shift on Thursday, April 1st was rude, visibly annoyed by our presence, and didn't appear to understand that his own company's online reservation system allows customers to choose in person check in at their local U-Haul location. When I came back later that afternoon to return the truck, I waited in line and watched people being checked out the way that I had expected to happen to me that morning. No one was forced to check out on their phone and then go hunting for their truck around back of the building while the U-Haul employee berated them and refused to help them. I will never use this location again and will warn friends to go elsewhere.Tenesha M.

Worst customer service ever by general manager Tony McCart I stood in line for 30 plus minutes to return my cargo van when Mr McCart went to the lot from the store and took care of the man standing behind me in line first for his return prior to taking my return I asked why he would not take care of people according to how the line was formed He stated I could have done the return on line and this would have got me out quicker Still he did not answer my question about why I was not taken care of first because the guy who went ahead of me despite being behind in line did not do any online work either despite Tony McCart lying to me saying that he did Same process for check out was done for both of us Upon my assistance for further answer for this rude treatment, Tony McCart stated I was an A** twice in the parking lot and then again back in the store in front of other customers and employee Simeon Haley. Mr MCCART tried to explain to me the difference between calling some one an A** and saying some one is acting like an A** are two separate things I don't understand that I own a small business and if any of my employees behaved like that to one of my customers, I promise they would be out of a job instantly. The app required me to verify all of the scratches and dents on the truck. There were SO many that weren't marked. It took a long time to take pictures and document those. The process was so much faster when a person walked outside with you to inspect the truck. No one was wearing a mask. The staff could have been more friendly with customers. I watched the guy checking us out in the morning answer the phone and cut someone off as they were talking to transfer them to someone else. Just a lack of etiquette and common courtesy.DEVON P.

I reserved a car dolly online. Waited 45 minutes when I arrived. What's the purpose of doing online reservation if it's not going to be quick. Then they wanted a third party verification in order for me to rent it. What if I didn't have anyone to verify that. Then I get back to the location to drop it off and have to wait another 45 minutes maybe more people need to working or something. I would not rent from this location again.DENNIS S.
I have always used U-Haul for my storage/moving needs. This store in particular handled things in a bad way. I wish I would have chosen a different one, now I probably will never use U-Haul again... I needed to rent a truck and the size I needed wasn't available so I paid the extra money for the bigger one, which was fine. One of the employees yelled in an abrasive way to park our car somewhere else, which is fine... When we returned the truck after moving things all day, I always make it a point to leave things in a good clean condition. We didn't eat in the truck or anything. What happened is we accidentally left two plastic bins in the back (empty) that we forgot to throw away. I got charged extra for a cleaning fee... We called to see if we could come get the bins and explained we forgot, to get the fee lessened or taken off and they said no. I feel it is poor customer service, because now what should have been maybe $50 at most cost me over $100. I'm so unhappy.Cidney S.
