Input the truck info properly. I disputed the info but apparently missed the fuel dispute. I did take pictures of milage being off and it showed fuel below a half tank. They didnt want to see that and Charged me 14$ for not disputing the fuel which was put back to exact as when i got the truck. I will never do business there again for sure.

this locale made two extra charges to my credit card for unknown reasons. I disputed it with my company and had them negated.
They didn't have the size truck I had reserved, so I had to wait. Then the first truck had warning lights on and the side view mirror hanging off. The truck would not go more than 30-35mph. I returned it and got another one. The whole process took up half of my day making me late for the other obligations on my moving itinerary and additionally caused half of the move to be done in the dark. The second truck was better mechanically, but wasn't cleaned or swept out. It had sand, dirt and broken shards of glass all over the floor of the trailer and as I was carrying items in to load, I slipped and broke my arm and got pretty cut up, too. I had to spend the rest of the day in pain before seeking medical attention since I was the lady who was facilitating the move and needed to be onsite to give instructions and take responsibility. The pain was unbearable, it was 94 degrees outside and the break was a bad one which required surgery, a steel plate and locking screws. Worst experience of my life and easily avoided if the Uhaul people had simply taken a broom and swept out the truck between customers. In the end Uhaul gave me $1,000 to go away which didn't ease the pain of a broken arm, 4" scar, a summer of healing and physical therapy, $15,000 worth of medical bills or the fact that once my belongings got to my new place, I was unable to unpack anything for over a month. Very poor business practices. Won't use them again.

I highly recommend AVOIDING the LOCATION 438 N. HARBOR CITY BLVD. (781059). This location had absolutely no problems with me going inside of the building to rent the equipment, sign the contract, pay for addtl. insurance & the rental fee. As a matter of fact, the first rep. made it a very pleasant transaction. However, to return the equipment, they obviously DO NOT WANT YOU INSIDE OF THEIR STORE TO RETURN A TRAILER. I arrived to the store 2/28/2020 to return the trailer. Waited in a long line, almost out of the door, for about 25 to 30 minutes; even after watching several people leave due to the unnecessary long wait. I get to the counter, inform the agent I have already backed the trailer into a spot accessible for the next customer (exactly where I hooked up to it), rolled out the jack & disconnected the chains & wires (basically I did their job). The guy tells me that he & the other rep. at the counter are busy, go outside & ask someone named Mike where to leave it. I tell the guy again, I've already done the job for them & just need him to verify condition & location. He blatantly refuses and tells me to use my phone and their app or go outside to the next line. To my amazement, he's wearing a name tag that reads Tony McCart, Owner. I tell the guy it's 60 degrees outside and another long line with 1 person attempting to check in a line of trucks and trailers that stretched out to the highway, while he and another employee stand at the counter arguing about what time the employee was suppose to arrive at work and whether or not they can accept doughnuts. Basically twiddling their thumbs. NO ONE ELSE WAS BEHIND ME INSIDE. In utter shock & disbelief, I call the Go-u-haul no. for help and to lodge my complaint. The agent places me on hold, tells me that she called the store and they were super busy with returns. Then she tells me the only thing I can do is to write a bad review about the store, she did not know what else she could do for my problem. Really!!! How busy could they possibly be with no other customers in the store & no one else in the line outside after me? I, along with many other churches in the community and area have been renting trailers, trucks and other items from this location for both personal and special events for a very long time. Never have I encounter such a disrespectful, distasteful, careless & utter neglectful service. This was by far the poorest & worse display of customer service and care by a so-called Manager/ Owner that I have ever experienced. Absolutely egregious! I never write reviews, but given the circumstances and behavior, I felt compelled and obligated to share my experience. I would advise and encourage anyone to avoid this location. In my opinion, there are no excuses for this type of service and behavior. I would urge anyone to visit any other location except this one. Just my 2 cents!!
A little discouraging though. I dropped my trailer rental off a day early but missed the close of the store time. We tried to check it in online and all our account showed was a truck we rented and turned in the day before as being turned in. Mike Lancaster was still at the store and told us we would be charged a $21.00 fee if we didnâ€™t turn it in on the UHaul website and sure enough we got charged an extra $21.00. I was furious. I realize a lot of people game your system but I am not one of them. I have 3 kids in college and I work very hard. I manage a 1 million dollar budget at work and I donâ€™t make these mistakes. In this case there was nothing I could do. $21.00 is a lot of money to me. I would appreciate a refund.
Fantastic service always
It was clean, however I had to jump start the truck at one of my stops.
Truck had a cracked windshield so I brought it back. Antonio went over backwards to help me get a replacement.
Tony took care of us, and made it a smooth process and great experience overall.
Unless I warned them about the service there. Advising that they better follow up with the location and make sure that they have your reservation. Also advise that even though you confirm & ask if you can pick truck up @ 7:30am, they only have one person/Tim working so I had to wait an hour and a half to pick up the truck. I need another truck 5/1/2020 & truly hoping the rental will go MUCH SMOOTHER!
The staff was incredibly knowledge able and professional. Pleasant & respectful. Provided quick solutions to problems encountered. I wish all businesses were run the way this one is.
The gas indicated on the contract was 1/4 of a tank off from the actual reading in the truck when I checked it out. I asked for a receipt when I returned the truck and was told it would be emailed to the address on file which I verified to be correct. Still haven't received one and its one week later. Basic operational skills seems to be surprisingly lacking.
Stop doing the third party contact thing. Itâ€™s incredibly annoying and may keep be from renting in the future.
Outstanding customer service
Truck was old with 141K miles on it and entire truck was dented, scratched or damaged in one way or another. Process for picking up the truck took entirely too long and returning was even worse. When returning the truck no one was outside to assist or inside at the desk. After finally finding someone we were told to go outside for assistance. Once again, no one came to help us so we went into an outside building area and found a woman worker talking on her cell phone. She did not even acknowledge we were present until we rudely interfered with her cell phone conversation. She told us she'd be right there and after 10 minutes never came so we went back inside and insisted the gentleman inside come help us, which he did. This location has horrible customer service and process should be stream lined easier with computer generated forms prior to arrival.

Owner opened the store at 7AM, looked at me and said, "I now you don't have an appointment, so how can I help you?" I replied that I had a trailer reserved for 7AM pickup. He told me, "Not here you don't" I showed him the reservation number and he looked it up and had to have it assigned to his store. I reserved it for that store. So why wasn't it there. Just felt his comment were a little rough. As if I was telling him a lie. I didn't take it very well.
