The paperwork was not ready when I arrived. I waited 30 minutes while the person behind the counter was on the phone with someone trying to get the paperwork printed and also taking customers' orders. The appliance dolly was behind a fence with air conditioning units in the way. The person behind the counter could not get it out and my husband had to lift and drag the dolly over 3 air conditioning units to remove it from behind the fence. I had called the day before to confirm the rental truck and appliance dolly. Will never use this location again.

The truck was dirty inside and out, including the cargo area had lots of sand. The truck itself really was missing a wash. The cab of the truck was dirty floors, dirty dash and it only had 20 something thousand miles on it mechanically it worked perfect perfectly. They didn’t have the pads I requested nor the dollies I requested, and apparently the U-Haul rep didn’t drop it off delayed my pick up, trying to figure out what they had what they could get and I’d already checked in online for the truck, I checked the back and realized there was nothing of the equipment that was ordered in the back of the truck. Nice people, but poor execution didn’t have all of the equipment that I ordered in the truck was dirty inside and out.

Whalen CWhen I arrived, there was no one there who knew anything about the u haul side of the business nor knew I was coming. I got no notifications from this place prior. The clerk called the owner, and he said he couldn't come; he was sick. I called the u haul office to get help. No help there. I called another number who was A dealer down the road, I think. He assured me it would be fine to hook the trailer onto my truck myself and leave. WHAT? I did not feel comfortable doing that because if I did something wrong and had an accident, the insurance would not cover. I had the lady in the store to call the owner again. He finally came after about 30 minutes and a ton of aggravation for me, which my pickup was time sensitive. I was meeting someone to help me load the trailer and I was really late. The owner hooked it up gave me no paperwork and did not ask for signatures of anything and took maybe 10 minutes. Wow, in short, I don't recommend anyone to use a local service station u haul center especially this one. Next time I will choose the dealer myself after I look at all the reviews.
Dana WI dropped off the vehicle a full day early. The person was rude, did not pick up several calls that I made to the location, said she was too busy to answer the phones, only spoke to me when I showed up and said she was bothered, overworked as the only person there, and would deal with the return. Told me I didn't need to sign anything and she'd check it in. Apparently she did not, and I got a late notice and a demand email saying it was going to be reported stolen. THEN I got a paid in full receipt??? This has been a real hassle and UHaul should make it right.
