Trailer was not secured properly by attendant. 3.8 miles after leaving the trailer came completely off the ball while traveling at 45mph. The trailer swung wildly nearly hitting several cars traveling next to me. I was forced to block a lane of traffic and reattach the trailer in the middle of the road. Extremely poor experience and almost life changing for myself or others on the road next to me.
