I scheduled my U-Haul a month or more in advance. Two days before pickup time I decided to call just to make sure my truck will be ready. No one works at that location (Albemarle mattress outlet) on Mon, Tue, or Wed that week. I’m supposed to pick up on Wednesday. Ok, cal corporate. Get bounced from Charlotte to Texas to Atlanta Ga, just to get hung up on. No call back. Ok, now it’s the day before pickup. transfer pickup location to A&D rentals in Albemarle. Call, very helpful, friendly service, truck will be ready tomorrow. Great. Day of pickup. Call again to be sure. No we extended the rental of the people before you. You now have to drive AN HOUR to pick up your truck. And oh by the way no one works at that location. It’s all virtual. Call corporate to make sure your truck is available. This happened 15 min before my original scheduled pickup. Call corporate. Charlotte, Texas, Ga, Charlotte again. Yes your truck is ready. Go drive an hour to get it and just hope we’re telling you the truth. It was there finally and I moved. Truck was fine, but I will never use U-Haul again.
