I accidently over filled the gas tank putting more gas in than was in there when I rented the van. I requested compensation for the over fill. My request was denied. This was a stain on my perception of. UHaul.

Problem with Uhaul online ordering not pickup location. Pickup solved the problem and gave excellent service. Problem: Ordered AV 5x8 trailer and Hitch package online which matched my specific cars specifications exactly (Year, Make, Model, & hybrid) according to the Uhaul website. Completed the order and only on the day of the install was advised by the local Uhaul installer that the wiring package was incorrect. Local Uhaul made calls, got the right wiring package and had it sent overnight and installed it on a Sunday. That is excellent service. Uhaul online needs to get their details right. I suggest if ordering a hitch to contact directly the Uhaul local installer and get their professional help in ordering the correct hitch package for your car and needs.

The reservation process is ridiculous! Stop allowing reservations for 1-way vehicles which don't exist!!! Getting a call 16 hours before scheduled pickup that there won't be the equipment is unsatisfactory!!!!

Devyon was great! The truck though was filthy. It reeked of marijuana, there was pet hair everywhere, and almost every surface was caked with dirt. Did not see the value in renting a truck from U Haul.

I originally booked 15 ft truck and car hauler for total price of $2676.00. I had to pick up the equipment at two different locations and then was charged almost $800.00 for the car hauler instead of my original quote when I reserved on 11/4/19. This was unexpected and extremely disappointing.

Upon arrival at our first stop, in Waukesha, we noticed that the floor of the cargo space was very wet. Then we saw a tear in the roof that allowed rain to soak the floor. We therefore had to purchase tape to seal the tear in the ceiling, and then had to purchase plastic sheeting to protect our expense cargo, both on the floor and over the cardboard boxes that contained the goods we were transporting to our client. Cost us expense and lots of valuable time! We'd like to have our rental fees discounted!! Thank you.

I tried to complete the rental via the web and phone app; it was a disaster. It delayed by start by over 30 minutes. I ultimately had to use a customer service rep at the store to complete by reservation.

Not using U haul again



I was charged an after hours service fee although the equipment was returned before it was due (approximately 8:30pm). I informed the customer service representative I spoke with on the phone my phone died, I wasn't able to check the rental in at the location but checked it in as soon as I made it home. I was blind transferred to someone else that transferred me back into the customer service line. I eventually spoke with Maribel who actually offered to submit a form to attempt to get a refund for the fee that should not have been assessed. I feel that it is very horrible customer service to ask to place someone on hold and then blindly transfer them to someone that is unable to assist.

Worker need to be more helpful and they need to have a bathroom for there customers and there’s nowhere to sit and it’s drity and very unorganized.
