I had to walk out without the rental van I had reserved on-line because: 1. I had to go through the ENTIRE rental process after having done everything on-line earlier in the day to precisely avoid having to go through the rental process in person. 2. I was charged twice what I had already requested on-line in the morning. 3. The person helping me was either poorly trained or had a slow-running computer or both and could not speed up the process or make corrections to my reservation. 4. The person serving me did not consult a manager for assistance to speed up the process. 5. I was at this facility for 25 minutes trying to pick up a van that I had hoped to quickly pick up and go to my designated project. 6. No one followed up to find out why I walked out without my order to find out what happened. I guess no one cared. I will not be visiting this location again.

Everything went well. Service was excellent. The only comment I would make is that when I call the store I had to listen to the same spiel while on hold over and over again. But this is minor.

Everything was good. I would have liked someone to show me how to drive the truck or at least help me move the mirrors. This was my first time ever!! I also would have loved a truck with a working radio. The knob to turn it on was broken off and didn’t work.

terrible service, picked up uhaul truck at 9:57 and returned it at 11:58 on today, 6/10/19, at505 e capitol . went from uhaul to 14th street and to 4247 n 35th to pick up office furniture and back to 811 w Burleigh to dropoff and back to drop truck off for a total or less than 20 miles. chare should have been $45.20 or less. I was given a printed bill for $201.04 .they insisted that I put 200miles on truck. I tried to tell them there was no way that I had put that many miles on the truck in less than 2 hrs and only putting $5 in the tank. I am very upset and will be calling the Better Business Bureau and the corporate office. I can prove where I was and when furniture was picked up and dropped off. I don't appreciate being called a liar and being disrespected. I hope you haven't overcharged other unsuspecting customer. I will surely let all my friends know not to do business with you.

The manager that checked us in told us different information than what I received when I called the 800 number to make the reservation. I didn't know that I would need to put gas in the vehicle before returning it until the manager told me and he seemed a little annoyed that I didn't know. I also was told on the phone that I could arrive anytime after 12:30, the time I set up to pick it up. We live an hour and a half away from the location we picked up the van and had some issues getting there by 12:30. When we arrived the manager said, "we just canceled your reservation". I told him what I was told on the phone and he said "It's just like a flight, you have to be here on time". I didn't appreciate the sarcastic way he handled this transaction.

The reservation was done over the phone. Unfortunately, when this happened the operator did not click to do the pick up option when the facility was not open. I ended up having to wait an additional two hours for the facility to open to complete the reservation. The staff at the facility were very nice, efficient, and accommodating once they opened which was nice.

I dropped a 15' U-Haul off after hours (8:30pm) after driving 14 hours from Washington D.C. I had swept and cleaned the truck and secured the rented dolly to prevent damage. The next day (after sleeping off my solo drive through tornadoes in Dayton, Ohio) I received an additional day's charge with the time recorded erroneously at 9:30am. I had rented the 15' U-Haul truck (plus dolly and insurance) for 4 days, beginning at 9am on May 27th, to be returned by 9am on May 31st. I returned the vehicle well within the time due. I drove 885.3 miles, well within the 936 miles permitted. The truck would have been there in the proper self-serve area by 7am when staff opened shop. The added charge clearly lacked professionalism and integrity. I have written to the email provided when they sent me the added charge and promissory note, with no response received to date. I am committed to fighting this until it is resolved. I will never go to this location ever again.

In error went to the 1st location the guy behind the counter completely rude. Had bad attitude. I re waited in line after he told me he couldn’t help. I found my reservation number and he said I was at wrong location. I get I made an error but the guy def needed customer service training.

Everything went smoothly until we arrived at our storage unit only to find that it was incredibly small. I rented the 15 foot truck and was told by the woman that set up my reservation that the storage unit would be able to hold everything in a 15 foot truck, however there must have been an error. It was 15 minutes after closing time so I called the after hours number on the door by the loading dock, and that number was out of service. I quickly ran to the front of the store and found an employee in the parking lot (young man, I did not catch his name) and he was able to speak to his general manager and walked us over to find a storage unit that would work for us. This was such a great help and this employee really did go above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the situation. Kudos to him and the staff at the Capitol Drive UHaul. Thank you!
