Was not able to get keys for my appointment until 40 minutes after the rental began. I was also missing the 2 dollies I placed in the order and was charged for. If the key boxes are not in use right now, that should be communicated prior to the rental appointment.

STAFF WAS VERY RUDE!! There was no customers in the store when I did my return to pay in cash. But they took their time checking me back in. Also it has been 2 days and money has not been refunded to my card. I am now on hold with customer service

The ramp was broken and had a bad temporary fix made to it. I had to climb under the truck to get the ramp out. I would have liked to have been offered a partial refund when I turned the truck in and informed them of the situation.

Uhaul we rented was very dirty and run down. The staff was great. But the vehicle the worst I have ever had. I rented uhaul numerous times.

I was quite concerned with the woman who checked me in was not wearing a mask despite the statewide mandate. The other (male) employee was wearing a mask. Everyone was pleasant to work with.

The mobile checkout process is so terrible, I just quit and went inside the store where a very nice gentleman helped me out. Why on earth would my license, etc need to verified EVERY time I try to rent a vehicle? I had to upload the photos multiple times, and the online agent said that she couldn't verify my license. Why not just add my license to the app permanently until it expires?

There were not enough people on staff to service the number of customers, waited in line for a half hour past my pick up time. The people who were working did a good job, they were friendly and helpful despite being in a stressful situation. They just needed more staff


Workers had masks not covering noses and did not sanitize hands between customers. Please provide sanitizer to customers.

There should be more than one person scheduled to work. Also, the employees need to be more mindful of their work and pay attention to how they log information. The wait time was extremely long to get to the counter with only one person. If this is because of covid, you all should invest in technology that will allow your employees and customers the ability to transact outside if they desire to interact with a person vs via mobile. Additionally, I was charged an after hours fee, however, the equipment was returned during business hours and within my time slot. After returning to the location to reconcile the issue, I was told that it had been refunded. Over a week later, it still hadn't been refunded so I've had to call again to try and fix the issue.

The after hour drop off process on was very easy to use. Very helpful that you have this service. It was so crowded though, that I couldn't pull into the lot. I had to manually pull the trailer into the lot. There was just enough room in the driveway for me to get thru and leave the trailer in the lot behind a row of parked trucks. I assume the congestion was due to the Labor Day holiday and was thankful I could at least find a safe place to leave the trailer. I did some people leaving their rentals in the street and I didn't want to do that. So mission accomplished in moving my daughter to Minnneapolis for her new job and my wife and I her able to return to Chicago without worrying about this trailer.

My hitch was installed improperly and it could have killed someone in an accident. It was nearly impossible to get ahold of the Minneapolis location and when I did the manager did not once apologize or even slightly seem to care that due to the negligence of someone at her facility, a death could have happened. I will never use uhaul again and the Minneapolis location is absolute trash. Fuck uhaul and fuck the Minneapolis location. You're lucky I'm not suing you for incompetence and negligence.

The kids working were nice and well meaning but they weren't wearing masks properly and they were eating while I was checking in and out while touching papers and keys that I had to use. Normally I wouldn't say anything but it's a pandemic and I live with two 65 + people with underlying conditions, so I think proper mask wearing and hygiene is life and death.

beautiful young lady checked me in. very professional and courteous. it was great customer service for so early in the morning.even the guy who ficed the trucks was in a super good mood. return was seamless and again with a smile, this time from the young man who took the keys. i haven't been to u haul for years and it sure has changed for the better. you're awesome!

The cargo van I rented to drive 330 miles round trip had no temperature control knobs - they were completely missing - and the air conditioner was on high. It was cool in Minnesota, and cold as I drove north. I was quite uncomfortable by the time I got to Duluth and this morning on my return, the outdoor temperature was 40 but the air conditioner made it about 5 to 10 degrees lower in the cab. I am pretty unhappy about this and am still very cold with a headache. I also think the truck should have been cleaned as it was very dirty and probably not sanitized for covid.

I changed my time from 6:30 PM 8/31 - 6:30 PM 9/1 to 6:30 PM 8/30 - 6:30 PM 9/1. I was never told that this location closed on 8/30 at 5 PM and my truck reservation was not changed to an online pickup. So I had to go in the next morning as soon as the location opened to pick up my truck and complete my move. It would be helpful to have agents check the open/closing time of locations to make sure that customers are getting the right kind of reservation.

The employees were fantastic. We waited in line for 2 hours for our reserved vehicle because you are too cheap to hire more than 2 employees at this site!!!!!
