The over all experience was terrible primarily because of corporate policy allowing cancellations or moving of pick up locations with no restrictions or consideration to the customer. None of the original rental agreements were met by Uhaul and if I had not had obligations to others for having some kind of truck for moving, I would have cancelled but was forced to use a smaller truck than originally agreed to.

I was misinformed about the payment prices and process and because of this my bank charged me an overdraft fee. I was told that my bank card would just be used as a hold deposit but not charged and that when I return to the vehicle I could pay cash. Two days later when I tried to return the vehicle and pay they told me no balance was due and that I had already paid and so when I called my bank account money had been pulled that wasn't there and because it had been more than 24 hours I had incurred overdraft fees that weren't non-reversible. I then tried to get ahold of the manager to remedy this problem and bring it to their attention and it's been over a month and they do not return calls and she's never there to be spoken with. the stuff that was rude and unapologetic about the situation and did nothing to help. I will not return there nor will I recommend that location to anyone.

Change your staff to people who are not arrogant snobs and if you're going to rob your customer out of s dollar per mile you should make sure the customer knows this "before" they take the truck. I expected to pay around $60 dollars ended up paying over $200. I will never use you again

Staff was friendly and helpful, but the AC was out in the truck that we rented which they neglected to tell us about before hitting the road. The first day in the truck was pretty miserable, but the weather cooled down for the next few days, so it wasn't as bad after that.

$0.99 miles a little steep. I would think that any time anyone goes over 150 miles that the price will come down a little. I paid almost $400.00 for 24 hours use of the truck. That price includes the $50 I had to put in the tank to fill it up before I dropped it off. That's a car payment.

we were charged an additional amount of $212.34 for mileage we did not use. Now I have to dispute it. someone wrote the wrong mileage down. Was it the U-Haul in Felton...i don't know. They said we went 4 hundred miles over which is incorrect.

I went through the check in process online the day before but when I got there the man at the counter rudely told me I didn't - I had only reserved online .I explained that, yes, I reserved online a week ago and then did the check in the day before picking up. He told me 'no, you didn't - you're wrong". Then when I went to pay he told me to swipe my card, not use the chip like I wanted to. When my card was declined he looked at me like I was an idiot and said your card is declined by the bank. I gave him another card, he was not happy, and ran it like it was my fault. I called my bank there after completing the rental and they told me that because you have an active chip reader, the fact that it was swiped alerted them to possible fraud, When I went back to let him know he told me - 'no, you're wrong - it's your card'. After the bank released my card it worked just fine at other companies - because they use the chip reader. The gentleman who checked me in when returning was great, very polite - not like the guy in the morning, he was rude. Suggest training in customer service - treat the customer with some respect. Follow current processes, all cards with chips need to go through the chip reader - he specifically told me not to even when I asked.

The actual u-haul itself was in bad condition. The gate kept getting stuck, almost got out fingers stuck trying to get it down. Also sounded like it needs some servicing. Overall condition of the trailer was the worst i've seen. But the experience there was good.

Facility opened an hour late. Agent who showed up was rude with another customer, and when I asked about compensation for the time lost (3 people waiting an hour for us cost me more than the rental of the vehicle, saying nothing about my time) he said it was not his fault, he wasn't even supposed be there that morning. And offered nothing except a non-sincere apology.
