I have rented vehicles from You-Haul several times over the years and have always had good customer service. This was the worst customer service and poorest You-Haul experience I’ve ever had. I made my reservation well ahead of time in person at the initial facility. When I got to the facility on the reservation day, they said that my reservation was sent to another store. When I went to the 2nd location, they told me that my reservation was at a third location. When I arrived at the THIRD location, they had my truck and were not very concerned about how I had to drive to 3 You-Haul locations to obtain my vehicle due to no fault of my own. I was not offered any type of compensation discount at all du to You-Haul’s mistake (not a discount due to the additional miles caused by a location that was further from my house, not even free blankets…nothing). And, the woman at the 3rd location when I picked up my vehicle had horrible customer service skills and treated me just like a dispensable customer of a big corporation. A horrible experience and added stress during an already stressful time such as moving.
