I was charged an extra two days when I only used one. I tried to resolve the issue with not receiving the dolly and blankets and he told me he couldn't help me and I left a note on my receipt that I put in the drop box saying I'm leaving my two padlocks on, one on the trailer and one on the back lift door and would be back to pick them up. I came back to get them and he didn't have them and said it was my problem for leaving them on and he showed me two random locks and asked if they were mine. I took one and left the other that clearly wasn't mine, neither were mine. I got the feeling he didn't want to get up and I was bothering him. He gave zero help in resolving him overcharging me an extra day and blankets and dolly. Bad feeling. Bad customer service.

Owners (woman) very rude !!! Made everything so complicated!! Had to explain why I received a free day .. many times !!!!!!! My husband complaint was the side mirrors would not stay in focus very dangerous!!

I was very grateful for this location as when I arrived at the Gilroy Hardware location to drop off they told me they were no longer a U-Haul dealer, they should have notified me prior to my arrival. I was not happy about that and fortunately I was able to find the Hitchen Post in time before they closed.

The lady was nice at the counter but the big guy was not. He yelled at a customer in front of me. Although I was credited $36 for fuel, I put in over $60 because the truck was on E when I picked it up. I am sorry but I will be using another (Penske) next spring when I pick up my daughter from school again. Moving is stressful enough and to have him yell at a customer regarding a broken picture she wanted to dispose of - unacceptable. Just be glad this was not one of your family members-

Offer a discounted rate when truck isn’t available for the 24 hour rate. I paid the full rate for 24 hours but couldn’t use it the whole time because it had to be back for someone else to use it.

Please do not allow smoking in the vehicles. The van we rented had a strong tobacco odor, which not only made driving unpleasant but also triggered my allergy to cigarette smoke.

Just don’t lie, I asked the person behind the counter if the truck was reliable,, their answer was YES, first of all, the truck’ A/C was in bd shape, blowing hot air. I spent three days driving the truck with no functionable A/C. I tried to call the Uhaul in Mount Pleasant, to complain and their answer was Oops, bring it back and they will replace it. My question as follows: did they really inspect the Uhaul truck before assigning it to me. I didnr realize that the truck had no A/C until I had my stuff loaded up into the truck. The Uhaul representative in Mount Pleasant don’t give a shit about the status of the trucked being assigned. I had to roll down my window when it was raining, that is how hot the truck gets with no A/C, I drove from Mount Pleasant MI to Laredo TX with my window down 99% of the time even when it was raining.

I would not recommend nor will I use this service from here again. We used the uhaul to move my daughter from one apartment to another and maybe went 10 miles and we were charged for over 40 miles. Also The $19.99 advertise sign up turned out to be $30. So $75 later I learned that using a uhaul service was not the way to go. Buyer beware!!!!

Front office worker was rude when I was 15 minutes early for the pick-up. I understand everyone has hours to keep, but there are ways to handle situations like this without resorting to rudeness. This is consistent with an experience I had with this business when I called to inquire about installing a trailer hitch a few months prior. I would not recommend their services for Uhaul pick-up or for anything else.
