The site was a gas station. The clerk stated the trailer was across the street and I can go and hook it up, everything was ‘on line” and they were not required to assist with the hook up. I stated that I could not pick it up myself and they stated I should call someone to help me as they were not required to help. I left and contacted U-haul via phone to state that I needed another location to get a trailer with on- site assistance available. After 15 minutes on the phone, the contact came back to me and said there weee no other sites available in the area with a trailer but they-haul Reguonal Manager would be calling me back shortly. Jeromy Brown called and said he was on his way to assist with the hookup. He was very courteous and connected the trailer for we and made sure everything was operating properly. He stated that the site was required to assist with hookup’s and he had contacted the owner. I stated that I would report this service to U-haul of my experience and would also mention his courtesy actions.

The back of the truck was full of moving blankets, a dolly, pillows, bedding and personal effects of another renter. We left everything in the truck when we returned it. There was only a half a tank of gas. The check engine light was on, which was concerning, but we did not break down.

Erica HVery rude and when I asked where I needed to park the truck, all I was told was, “we don’t care just put it anywhere” and drop the keys in the drop box. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it was a gas station parking lot, that was very crowded. And I had no clue where to put it and was worried someone would hit it and I would be responsible. The employee never even came outside the building or tried to assist.
Cade eHad to hookup trailer myself. They had no one to help lift heavy 6x12 trailer tongue onto truck hitch. Strained my back in the process. Also, I ordered online and declined protection, then when the location owner checked me in over the phone he added it back to contract. I had to call the are manager to get it taken off. Worse UHaul experience ever. Think twice about using this location.
