It wasn’t the best service . I have used u- haul service before and it was a better experience than this one .

I eventually got billed more than I ought to. The man who attended to me did some manipulation on the billing. I was billed $70 on an estimated 19 miles drive when I was to pick up the truck and use it for 24 hours. Eventually, I returned the truck same day - 7 hours later. He asked for the mileage and I took a picture of it and showed him. He said that was not the mileage. He then went into the truck by himself to take the picture of the mileage. He said that it was 15 miles. He never showed me the picture. However, I got billed $80! Considering that I returned the truck in 7 hours, and travelled less than estimated, I don't know why I should pay more! This is quite outrageous. I've been looking for the opportunity to file a complaint about this. I hope somebody will be able to do something about this.

Rathna DIt seems pretty basic. When 2 customers want to reserve equipment but there is only 1 available, you should not be allowing that reservation for one of them. Whoever tries to book it second should get a message that it isn't available. So then they don't end up without the equipment they need. Something which easily leads to a more difficult, time-consuming, and expensive move. As it did in my case. But U-Haul knows this. It's not a new or unique complaint. This kind of issue has been a problem across their system since time immemorial. They are not going to the issue that makes them money.
