The quote and moving solution I was given over the phone did not match the quote and moving solution I recieved in the store. There seemed to be a vast disconnect between what the website listed and hidden fees that the company was not upfront about with. In terms of this location the employees offered a different solution for me and helped me immensely to make an otherwise frustrating experience more tolerable. I would recommend this location but would be unlikely to recommend this company.

You could make the chock for a motorcycle adjustable for the different sizes of the tires so that it does not have slip out

When the store is supposed to open, it should. And NEVER wave a customer to go away just because they are a few minutes early and there are computer problems. Instead come to the door, open it and explain the situation. And on top of that, don't keep people waiting outside past the opening time. Simple!

If UHaul does not have trucks available at the customer's preferred or nearby locations, the mileage to get to the customer's preferred location should be free or discounted. Then once the customer checks in at that preferred location, the standard rate can take effect. To give specifics, I normally pick up UHauls from Minneapolis, but none were available on the day I needed to rent one, and the next closest location was New Brighton. This added $30.00 to my bill, just to get from New Brighton to Minneapolis and back with an empty UHaul. To better serve your customers and make rentals more affordable, you should implement a policy to avoid charging for mileage that is only a symptom of UHaul not stocking enough trucks at certain lots.

When I called to see what size trailer I would need to haul a sofa, love seat and recliner I was told either the 4x8 or 5x8 would work. There is no way those 3 could fit and thankfully I had a pick up truck that I could place the recliner in, so that was a little frustrating as I also questioned that when I picked it up and they replied the same response. I would have gladly gotten a bigger size. Other than that, everything was easy to rent and went very quickly. Will definetely use again and would totally go to the New Brighton location!

Key was a little difficult to turn in the ignition. There was also a light on the dashboard display that was one and I didn't know if it was something I was supposed to be worried about or not. Left lower corner-looked like a trailer icon or something.

The initial customer service representative I spoke with over the telephone was very helpful and easy to understand. However, when I picked up the equipment, the representative there spoke too rapidly and was difficult to understand. I needed to have him repeat statements and one statement, even after being repeated, I still could not understand the message. I would strongly suggest this representative speak more slowly and enunciate his words to provide a better customer experience.

The new Brighton location was well managed and staffed. Even on their busiest day of the year each team member was courteous and cheerful. A suggestion for Uhaul, as a company, would be to initiate an online inventory of their trucks. I reserved a 24' truck .2 miles from me and they called after my reservation to say the only truck available was a 15' 9 miles away for half the time I requested. It was therefore my most stressful move to date.

Huge contrast to the customer experience at the Uhaul location on the front end. The locations were equally well kept, clean and organized, but the entire experience on the return end was excellent. They simply smiled, were friendly and provided courteous service during the customer interaction.

I thought the truck and the location were great. Quick, efficient and clean. I thought the uhaul corp website was misleading. I tried to rent a vehicle at a specific location and was passed to a location that actually had a vehicle. Why have me click a button to rent from a specific location if there are not vehicles avail?
