The selfie verification took forever and they said because I had a hat on I had to do it like 6 times. Truck was very dirty with a water bottle. Everything with the truck was fine so no real complaints. The site was really tight but convenient so again was happy overall

I filed a compliant the night I rented the truck and sent an email the next day when I received the statement. I have never had such a bad experience with renting a Uhaul. I've beem told I should receive a response in 72 hours by Sunday

Very bad experience...was given a 10'' truck instead of the booked Cargo van which was confirmed...faced a lot of inconvenience and had to pay extra .

The truck was not stable. It was a 400-mile of scary driving. Going over a little bump or small pothole sent the vehicle way to the right or left forcing me to make immediate corrective action. I was very scared. It was terror. I will never rent a truck from you again, maybe except for local driving.

U-haul was great. The moving helpers somehow got cancelled AFTER my credit cards was billed. It was credited but I NEVER knew this which led to much aggravation on moving day. I was not happy!!

While this site was fine, my original reservation was for the Birch street location. I arrived to find the office locked and nobody there to assist. Speaking to the people at the hotel, I hear this is an extremely rare situation, but it was a bit of trouble calling and being put on hold and having to go to a new location for a changed reservation. However, I do appreciate the guarantee and receiving $50 for my troubles.

There were two employees working at this location at the time I returned my rental. One employee was sitting in the office, with her back to the multiple customers waiting in line, on a personal phone call. She didn't acknowledge any of us and continued to talk on an obviously personal phone call. I understand that she may have been on a break, but she shouldn't be taking a break in the office where people are expecting service - It's just unprofessional. When another employee finally came into the office(after 10 minutes), he was extremely rude when I told him my concern regarding a charge on my bill. Basically, he didn't seem to care and was very short and passive aggressive. I won't be returning to this location again after the poor service I received here. My job requires me to rent U-Haul vans on a regular basis and this location is very close to my place of work, however, after this experience, I will gladly drive out of my way to rent from Budget or another competitor because I will never give this location my business again. I'm a pretty easy going person, I almost never write or call in complaints - especially on low wage employees, but the service I received at this location warranted one. U-Haul should know what kind of people are representing their company.

I had a really bad experience self-returning the U-haul at this location. Below is a list of everything that went wrong. - It was very unclear where to park the car. I had to wait 15 minutes until a woman who has dropped the car there in the past could show me where to go. - At the correct location, there was only a tiny spot left. It took me another 15 minutes to get the car parked. - The mobile drop off experience took too long as well. When I was finally done it was not possible to click the link that shows where the pick up box is. - I was charged again for the dolly and the furniture pads although I already paid for them. - After looking for the dropbox for 10 minutes I decided to call the office. The first woman was not helpful and while I was finally speaking with the second one the automatic machine started going again so we could hear each other. When she finally got back to me she suggested that I drop the keys in the mail slot. - After more than an hour at the location, I had to bike home in the dark! - When I called customer service later on, the woman who spoke to me was not helpful at all. After telling her everything for 10 minutes she just told me write this review. I strongly suggest that the drop off experience at this location is improved, it really ruined an otherwise great experience. Please get back to me with the following: 1. How to get my $16 back, which was charged twice for no clear reason. 2. The above took close to 2 hours of my time, made me angry, and I had to bike home in the dark. I think it's only fair to ask for a significant return on what I paid for your service. I really appreciate and expect your review. Thanks!

1. Liam in the office was great - super helpful 2. Suggestion: more clarity when choosing a truck. We said we were moving a treadmill. We were told the 10' truck didn't have a ramp, so naturally we chose the 15' which did. We assumed the ramp was the width of the door, not only 2' wide to fit a dolly. This was discovered when picking up the equip., which was a hassle. 3. The truck was NOT clean. There was something spilled in the cup holders, as well as cherry pits and stems. (Pits = in someone's mouth.) Gross. Otherwise it was clean enough.

They charged me a $25 cleaning fee. No way. 2 cups left in the van as there was no where to throw them out as we dropped off after hours. Back if van was spotless other than blankets. Am I'm supposed to re package them for u haul? I use your company frequently for business purposes and if I'm being nickel and dimed , I can find alternative companies.

Newport facility and staff were good. The problem was I reserved a trailer for the Lake Forest location and it was not there. That's what "reservations" are for. Also web site said trailer receiver hitch is part of the rental. I had to buy one. But I had to go to a third U-Haul location to get it. Two and a half hours of running around. So my experience was not good.

This location should not be allowed to be a late drop-off location. They don't have a parking lot for trucks larger than 10 feet, and one of the 3 spaces is taken up by someone's private car. Not reasonable at all for late drop-off. I was worried I was going to get charged $250 per their sign for partially blocking their gate with the truck. Thankfully that didn't happen, but very stressful when you aren't sure what's going to happen.
