Customer service training because the person I delt with on pick up had a addituid. Yes I now it was the last minute but I tried calling for 30 to 45 minutes before I got there to let them know I was running a little late. The after picking up the truck the heat worked on and off. On top of having to drive so far to get the truck I needed because the 5 or more u hauls close to me didn't have a truck. So needless to say my experience with uhaul was not very good. So to improve things more training for people who have to deal with customers and better up keep of ur trucks

My pick up location was changed three times, and cancelled once! This not only caused a huge inconvenience but I also had to pay overage in mileage. I was offered an additional 25 miles plus the 50 ganruntee but I still ended up paying more. The representative at the pick up location was very helpful and quick.

Hello UHaul. Thank you so much for making your service available to the masses. Everything worked wonderfully; from pick up to drop off. However, there is one thing that made my experience maybe one of the most traumatic days of my life. This, again, is nothing against the company or the staff. The individual who provided my truck and checked me out was a lovely and warm human being. I’m v thankful for his hospitality. My struggle was with the UHaul truck. I am a small person, roughly of English decent so maybe think of a real life version of the hobbit. Now I’m sitting in this giant metal contraption hurtling down busy highway streets thinking, “this is the end. Your life ends today”. On account of 16 unique members times I screamed so loud that my moving mate was concerned for my mortal sanitary. Any time the machine hit a pothole or slightly raise road, my entire soul was shaken. I am very thankful for your services. But maybe make your terrifying devices with a little more suspension as to not traumatize the small humans of the world. Thank you again. We are thankful for your continued service. The Smålss.

When I returned the truck, I was accused of having a dog in the vehicle because there was hair all over the middle seat. The uhaul employee said - well I didn’t see it earlier and I am sure I would have noticed. Well - I don’t have a dog and did not have a dog in the vehicle. Then, I asked if there was a plastic tag that was supposed to be on the dolly - he said yes. I told the u-haul employee - there wasn’t one on the dolly inside the truck I rented but I did use it. He asked if I had used the moving blankets - I said no. His response was ... I will give you the benefit of the doubt but you need to check this before you rent again. I asked - is it my responsibility to check whether the items in the back have a tag (I don’t even know they were supposed to have a tag till I went to use it) - his response was - yes. My kids were with me when I returned the truck - both of them said ... Dad, that man didn’t sound like he believed you and asked why I didn’t do anything to make him believe me. I told them that you can’t “make” people believe you but I know I told him the truth. This uHaul employee could have made this experience better not only for me but for my kids. Absolutely terrible customer service - very accusatory and sarcastic.

Everything went well . Only complaint is a voicemail left from the company . I rented a 17" truck and was explained if I didn't bring it back by the time I estimated I would be back that the charges would be double .. CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD! Even signed agreeing I understood .. I called in and guess the location was busy so was directed to a call center I explained I was going to be late and I knew I would be charged double that I wanted to just inform William (great worker) at Niles location . So I receive a call from that office Stating I need to bring the truck back now 6:30pm or they would call the police and report it stolen What kinda shit is that when I have a contract and was explained additional charges . So uncalled for and unprofessional by the manager that made the employee leave me that voicemail ... Doubt I will ever use that loaction or uhaul again . I was a returning customer that has used uhual over four time within this year sorry but you have lost my business so uncalled for .

Very easy transaction for truck rental

You need to do some serious work on synchronizing your scheduling with the hours of companies. I was scheduled to pick the trailer up Thursday evening at 6:30, but the place closed at 6 pm. I was rescheduled to pick it up at 8 am the next morning. When I arrived I had to look on google to see that it didn’t open until 11 am. Another call to Uhaul and finally found something 30 minutes away. Great trailer but horrible experience. May opt for Penske in the future to haul by truck.

i was sent there do to 1560 mt prospect rd des plaines il 60018 8472981170 over booking the trailer out / they had me there 1 hour be for they told me they did not have a 6x12 for me and sent me to the niles location
