The location was good. There was some lighting and a little awning to protect from rain. I had to repeatedly enter the same information multiple times in the U-Haul app. The truck was clean and full of gas. The truck did not have a lock. The business was not going to be open for several hours, so we had to drive to another U-Haul location to get a lock. We originally arranged to use self-service check-in to pick up our U-Haul truck at 501 North Main in Springfield, Missouri. However, when we arrived, no truck had been assigned to us. The business wasn't scheduled to open for a couple more hours. We had to stand outside in a dangerous neighborhood in the dark, cold, and rain and contact U-Haul customer service. A great customer service agent quickly helped us. We took an Uber to another town (Nixa, MIssouri) to get a U-Haul truck. Thankfully, this delay did not cause us to miss our appointment with our movers.

Super friendly and helpful staff!
CHAD RNot let them rent your equipment! Because they pay no attention to the equipment and put zero effort into it!
JASON GGreat people to work with. I am entering the furniture buy and resell business. I will definitely use Rikers again!
GLENN SAt the POS they added thr protection that was optional without me really knowing. While they did go over the details of the invoice, it wasn't made clear that it was optional. I was offered a 5 dollar road side optional service which I declined. It just seems weird why they would verbally tell me that the roadside was a optional service however I was not told the move protection was optional and it was just added without my real consent. I brought this up after I returned the truck and asked why a optional service wasn't presented as such and just assumed and said thats what most people do. My car insurance fully covers any vehicle I drive so I would have declined the service if I had caught it at the point of sale. Pretty misleading when both of those services are optional but one was blindly added and the other I was asked if I would like to add.
