Talk to the owner about treating UHAUL customers fairly and with friendly service. I arrived 20 mins early at 7:40am for a scheduled 8:00am pick up time for a 10" UHAUL truck reservation. I had already uploaded my drivers license the day before and had movers set to arrive at 8:30am. I was brushed off by the owner as he was busy counting the night persons inventory. After waiting, I asked if my truck would be ready on time at 8am... he responded at around 8:45am saying, "You are going to have to wait 30 mins or so and then I can help you", he also said, "I am waiting on the UHAUL guys to get here with the truck as it is not here yet". I called UHAUL customer service and put UHAUL customer service scheduling on speaker phone where UHAUL told the owner at Jackies Service Station that the UHAUL truck I had reserved was in fact ON THE LOT. The owner then turned around and grabbed his IPAD and started to check me in on his IPAD that had been there on the counter the entire time I was standing there. I had UHAUL stay on the phone with me until he gave me the key to the truck. When I opened the back of the truck it was dirty and had to be swept out before we could load our items, in addition the driving cabin was also dirty with trash. I was advised by UHAUL to take pictures (which I have). These people treated me with such disrespect. I felt very uneasy. Their lot and station is not well kept and they are just quite rude. HOWEVER, I give UHAUL customer service 5-stars for EXCELLENT above and beyond customer service. UHAUL customer service was so helpful, kind and caring every time I called to ask a question or get help. Wow - UHAUL has GREAT employees!

The truck’s rear door was damaged — the cables were broken. We had to lift the door with difficulty each time and secure it in the open position using straps. This significantly slowed down the work and was inconvenient. It would be much better to receive the truck with a full tank every time and return it the same way.
