I originally booked my rental with the Cicero location....this is the second time I was at the Cicero location and the second time I was not impressed with their customer service. I found out my reservation was bounced to North Syracuse and the lady at the Cicero desk did not seem overly interested in assisting me. When I got to the North Syracuse Location I had the exact opposite experience. The man at the counter was phenomenal. You could tell customer service is important to him and he nailed it. I was in and out in 5 minutes, he reviewed everything with me and made sure my needs were taken care of. Thank you :)

Check in was quick, the person getting the truck ready and doing the paperwork was polite. ON Check in, the process was the same. I didn't have to spend much time in the store at all. For an improvement, I would like to see cruise control on the vehicle.

When I arrived the truck wasn't ready and was going to need new tires. Additionally, the truck had >90,000 miles and had not been serviced since the last person rented it over 4 months prior. I was supposed to be moving across the country in this truck and it hadn't even had an oil check/change. The people working at the location had no solutions other than to wait, which was not an option. We had to figure out ourselves how to get a truck.



Everything from check in to check out was fast & easy. I'm happy with my experience.

I ordered a 5x8 uhaul on April 24th for June 2nd. When they called to confirm they said only a 6x12 was available. I didn't need that big of trailer which is why I ordered the smaller size. So my only complaint is that I didn't get the size I wanted. I feel like I reserved early enough to guarantee the size I needed. When I called to discuss they told me one was available 45 mins away. You should try to better accomodate customer's orders.

I rented a 15’ truck for 24 hours. I picked it up around 11:45a on Tuesday afternoon. I was told to have it back by 11a. Not 24 hours, but no problem. I pull in at 11a to return the truck. I read the sign that says, please wait, and remain in your equipment, an employee with be with you. Well, I sit there for 15 minutes, and nobody comes out, I go into the store and there was 1 gentleman working, helping someone else. Ok, again, no problem. I wait another 5 minutes or so for him to finish up with the customer before me. So now it’s my turn. He takes the odometer reading and everything looks good. Goes inside, puts information into the computer and tells me my total is over $125. I said what happened, I rented a $30 truck for 1 day and paid the $14 insurance. He said I was getting charged twice because I was 23 minutes late!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS! I was late because of the lack of employees available to help me on time! He adjusted the total and I told him thank you, but don’t you think that he would have corrected something like that without my prompt??? Now I feel like your out for my money, and not my business. I won’t be back to this location. It’s dirty, and not organized at all. Location definitely needs some TLC. Management needs to look at the business from the customers point of view.

Saturday when we came in to make arrangements for a rental we waited for 15 mins in the store and even tried calling the office number to try to get someone to come up front and there were 4 other people waiting as well so we left and made our rental arrangements online. Other than that everything was great.

So called fast check in process was slow and tedious. I have used the fast check in process on prior occasions with no issues. I entered all of my information in the system at home prior to my pick up as in the past. When I got to the U haul facility, even though I had a confirmed reservation and confirmation number, it all had to be re input into the computer. As if I had input nothing. It took over 15 minutes to check in with no one else in line ahead of me!

Uhaul customer service My service today was terrible. I made a reservation this morning and had my elevator for my move out reserved at a certain time. I was set to get my rental only using my phone. In the middle of this process an employee ran out to me and said I cant do that, the truck has already been rented. I showed him that this truck was assigned to me and that I was currently checking in online. The employee refused to give me the key and said the truck has been double booked. It took 45 minutes for the owner of this store to get to the conclusion that someone had to get another truck and eventually I was given the key to "attempts to check in, which I was successfully able to. Now I have lost half my allotted move out time at my building and your company has still charged me a full rate for less time and for terrible service.

Rented a trailer and the brakes where dragging wante yo rent the trailers for 24 hours when I was informed after I wasted 1 hr of my time that I had to have it back in 4 hours told the person was not interested and they said as long as it was back my morning I would not be charged returned it by midnight and got charged double will never use uhaul again

Had a Horrible! Experience made a reservation when I got to location no reservation! Had to take a truck I didn't reserve. The truck was a piece of junk! And I think I got overcharged!
