The U-Haul we rented leaked. We had some very expensive items in the U-Haul. Then, the U-Haul broke down on the way to our destination. It took almost 4 hours to get back on the road again. Very frustrated. Would like our money back.

The cab of the truck was dirty. Coffee was spilled all over the cup holders. We were sent to this location because our usual location was closed for the holidays. We did net get the size of truck we needed or requested. We've used uhaul many times before and have always been given a mileage allowance. This truck did not come with any miles. Our $35 Rental turned into $112. Partially due to uhaul sending us to a location further from our reserved site.

Reservation was a jumbled mess. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to get the keys from employee. She did not know any procedures when it came to renting a uhaul even when I had already reserved the track online with credit card and the whole 9 yards. I didn't get the truck for 24 hours because they had booked it the next day at 9 AM. I was already cut hours for what I had paid for so I was already in a crunch and the employee was not helpful at all. I made my trip and returned with in 10 hours although paid for a full 24. All is good because I did it to rent the U-Haul and my move was successful although the u-Haul experience was way more stressful than it should've been

It should not be located inside of a store where pets are located. Some,people are allergic to & DO NOT like animals. You should make sure that you go over every charge w/the customer & do not place anything extra on the account w/out permission.

I was supposed to pick up the Uhaul at my scheduled appointment time at 4:00, I called to verify and was told I couldn't pick it up until 5:30. When I arrived at 5:30, they Uhaul was not there, I had to leave and come back at almost 8:00 that night to pick it up. The staff was kind, but this experience was definitely not a good one!!!

The last time that I rented from Uhaul and only used it for a few hours instead of a whole day, I was given a prorated charge. This time I was charged for the entire 24 hour period, instead of the 5 hours that I used it. I picked the truck up after 9 am and returned it by 2 pm. It might generate more customers if you offered estimates for shorter periods, rather than 24 hour days.

The steering was severely out of line. I had to hold the steering wheel center at 10 o'clock to go straight. If you let go of the steering wheel the van would veere right quickly, which was dangerous.

comp for mileage, or something.. i tried getting a truck. from the u-haul in jonesville. which would have been a 16 mile round trip move.. was called told no trucks.. three reservations later was directed to a truck in norton va..which u-haul gave me the 50 dollar for there guarantee. and a 26 ft truck for the price of a ten ft... thank god.. because the norton trip was 100 mile trip at .79 cents a mile plus refuel ran me $145.00.. just wasn't my day.. but the u-haul lady did work really hard to take care of getting me a truck...

a quick steam clean out of trailers before a new rent out. An option, even if it incurred a minimal fee, for an earlier than 9:00 pick up, or night before pick up for an earlier departure.

Gas tank was marked as 1/2 but was below that. Also 17' truck was guaranteed for Big Stone Gap and WAS NOT THERE! Uhaul discounted $10 which is not enough to go over 10 miles to pu and then pay for gas in a truck that was too small and a gas hog. Last 14' truck went RT w/aprox same load for $49 and this one took $38 for the same trip ONE WAY! Very disappointed overall. This was my 2nd rental in 2 weeks and now I will need a third truck in a week or so!

Our initial reservation was for Big Stone Gap, VA and when we arrived, there was no U-Haul available. Fortunately there was one available at the Norton location 14 miles away which we were able to secure. The U-Haul representative was awesome in finding it for us but the Shawnee location in Big Stone Gap were extremely rude telling us they hadn't had a truck in months.

Truck cab was dirty, door pocket filled with water, they were almost an hour late opening the store, and they did not seem familiar with UHaul's computer program, They ran my credit card the wrong way first had refund that and then run it through your system

The trailer that I had gotten had no crank in it, so what that means is that I had to pick up the toug of the trailer to put it on the ball, so if the trailer was loaded you would not be able to do this..!

Upon reviewing the uhaul truck before leaving with it, we noticed that the mileage nor the gas gauge information that they noted was not accurate. We had to have the worker of the store come out and note the correct mileage and fuel level. Also, the truck's brakes were not in the best of working condition. The truck had a severe pull to the right, in desperate need of an alignment. If it wasn't for the necessity of getting moved that day, I would have returned the truck and demanded that my money be returned in its entirety. When I did return the truck that evening as opposed to waiting until the next day, the drop box for the key was not in working condition either. Myself, along with another customer spent at least 20 minutes on the phone trying to figure out what we were to do about getting the keys to them safely. All in all, I was completely unsatisfied with my experience with uhaul.

My husband is allergic to cats while their cat walked all over our contract while signing it and I did tell them he was allergic. She was on the phone talking to someone else while we were in the middle of completing our contract. However, she was very friendly and so were all her kids.
