The pick-up process was terrible. The person there was responsible for taking payments for gas and convenience store items, so… our process was stopped multiple times to help other customers. The truck we were supposed to rent was parked behind another larger truck. The attendant “could not drive” (or leave his other job?), so we were asked to move the blocking truck. Ultimately, we were told to take the larger truck at no extra charge, which we did not want - we only filled 1/3 of the space, but used twice the gas! The whole pick-up process, which should have taken 10 minutes, took 30. The return was similar. While this was a great location related to our address, I would never use it again due to “operational issues!” The attendant was very courteous and apologized repeatedly, which we appreciated. But overall, this was very POOR.

I had probably the worst customer service experience I have ever had at this place. I called the night before to confirm my truck, and luckily I did, because they informed me that my 7:30am pickup time I had scheduled months in advance wasn’t going to work because they “don’t usually like to be there that early on sunday” I asked what time they open and he said “well we open at 8, but it’s not a very busy day so I usually get there around 810 or 820” I had movers scheduled to be at my house at 830 so I asked if he would consider opening at their scheduled opening time of 8 so that I could get the truck, and he said 810 would probably be better. If your business is scheduled to open at 8, you’d think they would be there at 8? We arrived the next morning to pick up at 810 and the door was locked and nobody was there. We waited until 820 when he finally showed up. My husband went inside and the worker simply asked him his name and handed him the key. We left and started moving and I started getting emails from u-haul saying our reservation was cancelled because we never showed up. That evening we returned the truck to diamond self storage as per the original reservation email I had received. The next day I received an email saying that I needed to document the condition of the truck and the mileage before our “trip” which clearly was not going to work because our reservation was the day before and we had already used the truck and returned it. It was clear the employee who dispatched the truck never processed our checkin information, thus leading to us not being able to correctly complete the intake before we left with the truck. After this I received an email saying that we would need to return the truck to a different location than the one that I had originally chosen, unfortunately this was not possible as the truck had already been returned to the original location the evening before. I called and spoke with someone at u-haul who let me know that it was still showing that we had the truck and had not returned it. Thankfully this employee, unlike the one who dispatched the truck, was extremely kind and helpful and assured us that he could get it taken care of. I would never recommend Ready Mart for their U-Haul services since their employees don’t seem to care about the business or correctly doing their work.

WILLIAM PIf you don’t open til 8 am do not have where you can make reservations at 7 am. Also if you have reservations at 8 am be open on time. I shouldn’t have had to wait til 8:20 am for the business to be open.
Sarah GHad to call customer service, who was great, but the correct key was not in the lock box. I almost had to go to another location to get a truck before the person working the location decided to check the key drop box. Based off of my experience and publicly available reviews of the location, issues are common. Will just use the actual uhaul location in the future.
