When I picked up the trailer the guy who hooked it up was smoking a cigarette while doing it ! When we did the light test he said one side not working and changed the cable then tested again said ok - I later found it still not working very dangerous having no brake light or indicator in the dark

The process doesn’t make sense. You need to have a card to reserve the truck but you can’t use the card from the reservation unless you physically have it. We use the service for work and the card isn’t always with us so it makes it super inconvenient to try and rent the trucks from uhaul.

The process for an electronic check out and check in our you site would not work. I kept getting an error message to turn on my location services, they were on, and I turned them off and then back on but that didn't help either. At check in when I went in the building the employee told me that everyone has issues with that so he converted the reservation. When I returned the truck I tried to check it in using the electronic process and the same thing again. By the way, I was on your WiFi so that alone should have let you know I was at your location, should be a way to put an approval in for that step if someone is on your WiFi.

Loved it. The employee I interacted with went out of his way to make the equipment return quick and stress free. He even showed me an option I didn't realize at first which ended up saving me some money. Very happy about my experience there and would definitely go back again!

The staff could verify what should be on the order is all there before the customer takes possession on the items requested. On this visit I requested two dollies. Neither of them were supplied. When I contacted customer service for assistance there was no follow thru and I was never contacted to resolve my issue. And then I was charged for the items that I did not receive. I input this information in the comments when I returned the truck and the comments were ignored and I was charged for the items even with the information being provided to them. So twice the employees did not verify and processes my order again incorrectly. I understand mistakes but I believe that when you are advices of the issue and the customer is told there would be someone contacting them to resolve the issue that should happen. It should not be only the customer that has to work to resolve the companies mistakes. In this case I lose time and money for these errors and no one even apologized for their failure or mistake and I had to place a file for investigation to get only one mistake resolved. The other went unsolved for the customer who was me. Not a good experience at all.

Make sure previous customer has taken all personal items before checkout. There was an important legal document left in the cab of the truck given to me, which I handed over to a uhaul representative prior to leaving the lot. Other than that, truck was very clean and mechanically sound. Thank you!

Great store with great people, all of them. I called and congratulated the mgr on his fine staff and I tried a 2nd time but your lousy toll free people screwed that up. Now to the horrible people at you toll free #n they totally stink, are rude, they lie and they are terrible. Too bad they are not even close to the fine nice people at the store location. You phone people suck!

Hold the truck reserved or provide an upgrade instead. Despite having gotten there a bit late, I don’t understand how not having a reservation would have changed things. Also since I filled the tank passed the amount with which I received the vehicle it would’ve been great to be offered credit or a reimbursement. No contact other than the satisfaction survey. Great online platform from reserving to return. Kudos.

The self inspection is very time consuming considering rentals are once a year or more, it was so much easier and faster when a skilled individual was noting and walking around the truck. They know what is already noted. And, I didn't realize that i needed to sign in at the location when I dropped off the truck after hours, it was close to 8pm, therefore, when home, couldn't do the final stuff until opening the following day.
