Everything else is fine. PLEASE fix those issues!

The call center told me that local store staff would call me back. NO ! NO ! NO!, Not only did they not refund my money, but NO one even called me at all. Horrible local service. Jonathan S | Overall ExperienceI recently went to U-Haul to move out of my storage unit after being charged $159 in late fees. I had decided that moving out was the best option, and during the process I informed the employee at the front desk that my father had recently passed away. The interaction was extremely disappointing. When I explained my situation, the employee was rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. I even asked whether they needed a death certificate or any documentation regarding my father’s passing, because was listed under my account as having secondary access and a guarantor, and I was simply told, “No, none of that’s necessary.” I understand that policies are policies, and I wasn’t expecting special treatment. However, I do expect to be treated with respect and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. This interaction left me feeling worse during an already difficult time in my life. I hope management takes customer service and empathy more seriously moving forward.
