First I thought it should have been disclosed that I was picking up the truck at an unstaffed location at 9:00 AM. Also UHaul changed my pick up location. I didn’t do well with the remote check in process. If I had known it was unstaffed I would have gone to another location. Secondly, the truck was very dirty. Windshield was loaded with bugs and other debris, had to wash it 3 times to get it reasonably clean. The floor had snack crackers and other food type debris spilled over it, which I cleaned up best I could without a vacuum.

The truck was mostly clean and we returned it as we found it but it could use some vacuuming inside to prevent the cargo from getting dirty. Greg at Overstock was very friendly and helpful. We had our original reservation at another location and the van was not available to us at the very last minute. The owner at that location (Exxon, Glen Rock) was very helpful to find us other options but the last minute change was inconvenient. These rental locations are not dedicated UHaul dealers. They have other business that they are attending to and I can see how that can easily lead to miscommunication and mistakes.
LYNN CMy pickup was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Got to this location and found out they don't open until 10:00 a.m. Employee didn't arrive until 10:15 a.m. So I wasted over an hour of my day just waiting to get my U-Haul.
MELANIE MIt opened at 10am and that's when our appointment was scheduled. They were 15/20 min late. Also the truck had no gas left. We had to change our priority to filling that up.
