When i reserved uhaul truck online i also paid for 2 furniture dollys but when i went to the location they said they gave it to someone else, and telling me to take a handtruck, thats the only part i was dissappointed

There was some mixup with the keys so it ended up taking longer to get the van, we had to switch to another vehicle. But overall great experience!

I waited for the location to open 15 minutes late. No apology. Because I was late, I rushed off and didn’t realize I was given a truck in poor condition. Three check engine lights came on when it was too late to turn back and the truck ran poorly. The windshield was very dirty. When I called to complain they promised to remove the truck rental fee and simply charge me for mileage. I was charged full price upon return. I called to complain and received no call back. I rent from this location every 6-8 weeks. This was a really negative experience.

Check-in process is hard when they representative has to call my alternate phone number. I often pick up the van before anyone I know is awake, so they don’t answer when the representative calls.



Hazel is a friendly and helpful manager. Van box floor was mopped with dirty water so had to be swept clean to use but overall a very good experience. Would recommend to friends.

The 17' truck that I rented has misalignment. The cargo light won't stay on. The car make loud squeaking sound when I drive, not braking. The facility itself is clean and representatives are friendly and helpful.



The employee who tend to my assistance is very good at her job. I would like to thank her in person.

Make your self-check in process work better with real world close out. When I arrived to drop off. I asked the service rep if I should close it out on the app. He said 'we can do it' but then the app prompted me. Fear of being overcharged I followed the app -- but couldn't get image of the odometer or back of van to prove clean. I was confused. I also saw a $25 cleaning fee which is more than the rental itself. Was this because I didn't take a picture of the van's cargo area? I'm confused. Wasn't clear how self-pick up app worked with real world check in/close out.

Agent was rude and didn't want to help wit the check out. A charge of 72 dollars was made for furniture pads that were never delivered to me. Open a dispute case with my credit card company.

First of all the staff at Parkslope location has no manners and they wont help or look up the account properly. Also, they are not friendly and they take the position for granted. very bad experience whit the customer service provided while getting, returning the rental and worst over the phone.

I had a great experience. Everything was easy and went just as it was supposed to, which is pretty rare in NYC. Seriously, no complaints. Picked up the truck no issue. It drove great. Returning it took less than 5 minutes. Had a receipt in my email in under an hour.

make sure after washing the inside, it is given to the customer dry. I had a couch and chairs to move which were fabric and the inside of the cargo van was wet.

Truck windshield was dirty INSIDE. Cab smelled like smoke. Mirrors could not be adjusted. Windshield wipers need to be replaced.

1. Find any other Uhaul location 2. Plan on 30 minutes minimum to get a truck 3. Plan on basic things just not working... and oddly enough it never seems like it's the staff's fault. Always seems like its the owner of this site. Worst Uhaul location anywhere. And I've been to a dozen in as many states.

Really bad customer service. This is the 4th or 5th time I've used this location, and it is always this bad so might as well let someone know. The staff seemed genuinely upset that I walked in. It wasn't even busy! On the return I was then overcharged for a gas "fill up" when I drove the car 4 miles (according to the odometer). I don't usually leave negative reviews but this location was (and always is) a really miserable experience. Help them do better!
