Pickup and drop off at this location went smoothly and I’d recommend them to anyone. The pickup at the Ocean Breeze locations on W Detroit Blvd. (Pensacola) was my initial reservation and did not go well. Customer service was kind and respectful over the phone, but between them and U-Haul’s direct customer service, there was confusion about my reservation. Uhaul should explore how to sync their Truck Share offerings with the third party locations, because it seems like those do not align. Thanks, Abby

The location didn’t have the dollies or furniture pads that I ordered, and the key was not in the lock box so even though I requested mobile pick up I had to go inside and wait in line for the key. It wasn’t until I was doing the walk around inspection that I noticed that there were no Dollie’s in the back. This was a major inconvenience and set back to an already tight a limited schedule. I ended up renting one from Home Depot which cost me additional time and money. The truck had a small odor of marijuana and dirty cup holders when I picked it up, as well.
Karla KSadly, my reservation was moved to three different locations. When I arrived to pick up the truck and auto transport, the transport wasn’t there and they also didn’t have the dollies or blankets I had reserved. I had to drive to another location just to pick up the auto transport. They also switched the truck because the first one had no gas. The replacement truck was filthy inside and in the cargo area. Just driving to the other location left my hands completely black from the dirt. Because of these delays, my movers had to wait about 45 minutes, which I had to pay extra for. The next day, while stopping for gas, the truck wouldn’t start. Roadside assistance had to replace the battery and also found a tire that wasn’t safe for driving, which makes me feel the truck wasn’t properly inspected. The employee did try contacting other locations to help, but as a customer who booked everything in advance, I shouldn’t have to chase down the equipment I reserved. I’ve used U-Haul many times before, but this was a disappointing experience.
HUMBERTO MDon't expect any great service when dropping off. Make sure you arrive midday, not toward the end of the day. They will let you drop it off, but after 4.30 they will NOT check your truck in.
JERRY CI didn’t realize I had to pick up by 8:30. I was charged more since I showed up at 10:30. I didn’t need it until lunchtime, that’s the reason I didn’t pick up earlier.
