Staff was great, and the pickup truck we rented was clear, but its tailgate did not open. That forced us to have to lift heavy furniture over the edge of the truck bed, which was very difficult. I think a discount should have been offered to compensate a bit for the inconvenience, but none was offered.

The guy (Tucker, I think), was very difficult to work with and gave me a very hard time trying to drive the truck using a company card. I offered him a number of solutions to prove that I worked with the cardholder but he was extremely unwilling to work with me on the topic. I do not recommend picking up a truck here.

awful service. very unhappy. i had issues with charges that i did not approve of and requested for assistance and never received it. when i went to pick up the u-haul, i waited for over 30 minutes for assistance on thebes chat option on the app and also on the phone and on the phone never had a customer care representative assist me. awful company and even worst customer care service

The truck was extremely smelly and the windshield wipers needed to be replaced. It was extremely difficult seeing as I was driving and precipitation fell or was kicked up from the road.

The site was not open at the time of the guaranteed reservation that we were given. So far, all attempts to receive compensation for the broken guaranteed reservation have been ignored. This is not the fault of the location, but the reservation management. I had originally requested a different location, but the location was changed and the new site was not open for the time of the reservation (the original site would have been). It would be best to make sure that however reservations are confirmed in your system can recognize when it is providing a reservation which cannot be completed.

When a person needs a uHaul it is always out of urgency. Every minute of the day that you have to get everything out of your old house and into your new house is important. Your friends may be waiting on you because they're helping you move, or you may have to be out by noon because that's what the lease required. Well, at this location I had to wait 20min for one of the employees to stop fraternizing with a customer. It was irritating and I will never return to that location.

People were nice, truck was filthy. Make the reservation was horrible. They were incredibly disorganized. I had to call 3 or 4x to get it right. I couldn't believe a company as established at U-Haul could be that chaotic and careless.
