This was, by far, the worst experience I've had with someone in a "customer service" position, in a long, long time. Chaine Martinez had the audacity to lecture me on my attitude and tone of voice after I had been waiting for more than 75 minutes to get the truck. She said she tested it. She lied. The code that I was given was WRONG. I had to turn to Twitter to get help where a woman named Leah, took care of it. She got me the correct code and I was on my way. Chaine didn't listen to a word I said on top of basically saying there was nothing she could do. Meanwhile, I had an assistant sitting with my stuff on Rittenhouse Square for two hours. Another friend who was waiting for me, her cell phone died. It was a mess. But, Chaine wasn't close enough or even willing to help me. I was told I would receive a $50 credit. I don't find this acceptable. I want to speak to someone above her. I've deal with Raul before, but I want someone outside of the facility on N. 13th Street. She didn't stop to think for one second that this was a horrible situation for ME, the customer. I'm still furious. I use U-Haul 3-4 times a year. If I don't get complete satisfaction, I will be going to Budget, regardless of distance, and will be sharing this story with friends on social media. I'm normally not someone who gets this bent out of shape over poor customer service skills, but she was completely out of line.

Was told to park across the street and incurred a parking citation for using the only available lot for the vehicles. This is highly dishonest and unethical, especially since I followed all instructions and used the parking lot provided. Additionally, was on hold for 2 hours trying to contact customer service, where I was then told I’d have to bring this up to the Philadelphia parking authority. That isn’t my responsibility, and I shouldn’t be charged.

The print out you provide on the receipt for the fuel tank capacity is not the same as the actual gas meter in the cargo van. In the cargo van the gas meter is much smaller and I was responsible for returning 3/4 gas which was only one line from a full tank. I was overcharged for what I was required to replace for gas.

The vehicle was in unacceptable condition. Loud an$ disturbing noises came from the brakes and the suspension was totally gone.

All the keys are the same at that location and open the car doors I tryed two of them and keys open the doors but dont start the car and the lock were the same and someone unlock at my home and will never use that location again

The uhaul I rented was parked in by other box trucks. I was not able to access the truck for use. I called customer support who transferred me to the emergency help line. The emergency guy told me he could not help since this was not an emergency then transfering me back to customer support. After 4-5 phone calls I finally reached some one who was helpful but said they could not do anything at the moment. They told me i would not be charged. I then went once the office was open and the man at the counter said he would not charge me. Once i got home and checked my account I noticed that he had i fact charged me for the rental that I was unable to use.
