Check in had lines for social distancing and employees had masks but did not wipe down steering wheel or seat after driver brought out truck.

The truck had at least 3 leaks into the storage area. I didn't get charged mileage but it was a day rental and it damaged my bedding and some books. Tacky to charge me for the truck as it has been raining everyday so they had to know it was a problem there. Be honest and not greedy. If it shouldn't be rented, don't rent it or at least let the customer know there's an issue and let them decide.

Consider your COVID-19 limit to one customer and how it may impact (or in some cases create liability) the customer if they have small children or elderly/infirmed individuals with them they have to be left outside. I did nit have much if an issue given the pleasant weather, but as we get into the hot season leaving individuals outside may not be a comfortable option. my family and I gave been in Indian Land, SC and also spending time in Eastern NC, most business have leniency in applying social distancing to “immediate family groups”. if Uhaul is in extreme fear, why not insist on all that enter wearing masks?

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only downside is the dolly nor the moving cloths were in the truck. I should have checked the back but when I got to my location I discovered nothing was in the rear of the truck.

The only negative point was that the truck I rented was not in the location indicated on e-check-in site, causing a short delay on pick up. Return of the truck was a breeze. Dropped keys with attendant at the desk and was free to go.

My reservation was canceled and nothing which done on my part for this cancellation. Reserved a 17 foot truck after 45 minutes they finally gave me a 20 foot truck. No effort to compensate me for my inconvenience. Then they charge me for gas.

Look customers in the eye when speaking to them, provide a written contract when one is requested in person, clean your trucks once in a while (windshields should always be spotless at a minimum, hauling area should be clean as well) and make sure there are no personal items of prior renters in the vehicle prior to re-renting.

It would appear my difficulty with the App really shows up in reporting the miles driven. I tried to show 8009 as finishing miles but was unsuccessfull. Please adjust my bill to reflect that. Started at 8000 and finished at 8009. A total of nine miles.

Trailer rental, wiring harness not available at time reserved. Manager had to go out and get some. Could not exit property on rental return, gate was not enabled. Trailer was in good shape and met our needs.

Automatic gate didn't work, had a little trouble leaving the premises. Also there was not enough slack left in the trailer wire harness and it got pulled out from the plug on my vehicle during a turn and was dragging on the roadway for several miles before I discovered it.

Even though the COVID-19 is effecting everything around us a simple head nod an finger pointing is not acceptable to customers. There was basically no interaction with me other than that. The self check in was a difficult process. Be mindful people are spending money at least give them some type of customer service. An please at that location hire better quality people.
