Dealing with this location for the second time and assumed that it would be better but it's still awful. You wait forever to have the employees help you hook up your trailer, you get over charged and promised to 'get paid back' and that still hasn't happened - a week later. Will absolutely not be using this location again.

I paid almost $12 for mileage and that was for less than 15 miles! I also put $5 of gas in the tank. Why don't you just have the customers put some gas in the truck upon returning it?? Why isn't the first 50 or 100 miles free? The mileage you charge is ridiculous! I hate being nickled and dimed for every little thing. $25 to have your employees fold a blanket lol?! Really?

I rented a one way uhaul with the understanding that there’d be storage at my return uhaul location. I was informed I’d get one free month of storage. I also booked moving help through uhaul at my return location to unload my truck into the “available storage” I was told was in Gainesville, FL. A couple hours after I picked up my truck I received a text that my drop off location changed. I arrived in Gainesville, FL at 2 am to the drop off location sent. The location did not feel safe, was a mini mart, and had no cameras. I could not leave my whole life (packed truck) there. I drove it to a close by uhaul/storage location where I was told in Pineville they’d have available storage. I parked the truck at 2:30 am. I came back at 8 am, the store didn’t open until 9. They had no storage because they were under construction. I had uhaul mover help meeting me at 9:30 am, (skye moving) but again nowhere to put my things. I still had to pay them the $150 for two hours. I cried again. I had a uhaul full of stuff, paid movers (through uhaul) that didn’t move anything, and was exhausted. I paid a seperate group of movers to move my stuff into a non- uhaul location because I was so upset with the service. So I lPaid twice to have my truck unloaded. Then I went to return uhaul truck at the unsafe convenience mart and I was charged $12 for gas. I showed the associate the pictures of the gas meter when I picked up the truck and when I dropped it off and he agreed I got screwed, but there was nothing he could do. I am so disappointed in my uhaul experience and hate the amount of money I spent but never got services for. i am hoping to retain legal aid through my new job and recover some of my wasted costs! Hi, I needed to write and tell you about my experience at Uhaul and I regret to say the $50 credit I was promised after I went to pick up a reserved rental truck is not on my receipt as promised by a woman named Caroline. Also, concerning the receipt I was sent. I was charged an extra day as well. My reservation said 7:00 was drop off time since thats when I picked up the truck. I might have been around 10 minutes late but the truck was stalling out on our ride home while on Ballantyne Commons Parkway. My husband and I wanted to use Uhaul again after we used your services on March 5th...We rented a truck for 4 days, rented a storage unit and spent over $100 on moving supplies..we were treated respectfully and everything went smooth however, this time I reserved a truck in Rock Hill that was not apparently there so we pulled over our vehicle and called uhaul several different times just to wait anxiously on hold for over 40 minutes until we decided it would be faster to just keep driving and hopefully have more luck learning what happened to our reservation at the store/dealer and we did end up having the associate call Ballantyne location to see if they had a 26' truck and to our delight, there was one single truck left..however, I wanted Uhaul to honor the one way out of state quote that my husband and I had agreed to because we were moving out of an apartment in Chester SC..unloading our storage unit with "24 Hour Access" in Ballantyne and finally emptying our final 10×10 from public storage on Albemarle Rd. I tried my very best to stay understanding as moving can be unpredictable I thought my biggest concern would be calling you guys to ask to honor the original price and 51 miles to my final destination in Matthews, NC from Rock Hill, SC. Well, things seemed to turn for the worse after I was told that Ballantyne was no longer granting 24 hour access. Soo, ultimately, my entire move was altered by events completely out of my control..I was no longer able to afford the miles to Chester as planned since they went from .49 cents to .79 and I was not in SC anymore due to reservation mishap..then when I paid for and got paperwork for my truck I was told I could NOT access my 24 hour unit to unload.. I had paid a babysitter and had helpers on reserve with a promise of payment for there services. Now it seemed I had rented a truck and drove over 40 extra miles just to go to ONE of 3 of my places needed. Well My husband walks to our unit (C017) to check the lock and there were people unloading there unit after 7:00. We asked if we could just atleast stay as long as those customers/workers were able to stay and we were told no..after practically begging..getting treated like a lying kid by the Uhaul employee who drove our rental to the main gate when I asked her if she knew anything about the change in 24 hour access..her impatient demeanor was very rude when I was shocked to hear her say "we stopped granting 24 hour access in December" I
