We picked up the truck on a Saturday so everything had to be handled through the app. Although we tried to upload a photo of the odometer to the website it didn't take. We didn't see anything on the app that said to verify the odometer against the "paperwork" (all digital) and we didn't think of it. We drove to Quincy and back, a total of 84 miles. When we got the receipt a couple of days later we were billed for 154 miles. I called U-Haul and also Gellar's. No one cared since we didn't have a photo of the odometer nor had we compared the odometer with the "paperwork". But someone at Gellar's either entered the mileage wrong from the previous renter's return or took a drive of 70 miles off the books. Either way, we ended up paying for 70 miles that we didn't drive along with the fuel charge for the extra 70 miles. Not sure if we'll use U-Haul again but we certainly won't use Gellar's for the pick up location. (Gellar's does have great ice cream).

Edward DNo idea how this happend this wasn't me. Kindly remove me from your database I have rented from U-haul previously but as of 6 years ago my license has been revoked because of seizures. I contacted the dealer and she said it was two Chinease dudes and not to worry about it, I checked my Vias accounts and none end in the numbers associated with the last 4 of the card used, I also called your service and the representative was very responsive and understood and saw how this could have happen, I live approximetly 45 minutes from Plymouth and can not drive and as sure as my name is that shown above I am not oriental.
