Do not let this location part of your locations anymore. Nothing was ready for me at my appointed time. All the equipment I had rented for the day, I had to wait for them to "find" it in the back of their terrible store. I had to load it myself, and I had to manage to squeeze a 26' length truck out of a small opening in a busted down fence opening. I will never rent a truck again from this location, even if it was free. I would spend $100 extra for a Penske. I lost an hour of my 10 hour reserve time, just because this location was lazy and had no initiative to get me going. Worst rental experience I've ever had to go through for moving. The location and the employees are not doing U-haul any favors, in fact, they are turning consumers away. I was already inconvenienced having to go to a location I did not pick, which was sprung on me the day before the pick-up. Bad experience.



Had to change locations because they would not bring the truck to our chosen pick up location. It worked out okay.

No identification or street number to locate the place. I lost a lot of time to locate the return place. The lady give me a broom to clean the truck or I will be charge for that. Terrible place! Dirty and darker.

Terrible experience both weekends we went to the New Smyrna Beach Turnbull Rd. location. On 10/14/16 Robert, an employee at this U Haul location did not have our $500 in packing supplies from online order we did 2 weeks in advance. My husband had to pull the entire order which made us late to our moving job. I run an elite service and this was detrimental to my reputation. On the following Friday we returned to pick up our 26 ft. rental truck that was also reserved at the time of supply purchase online several weeks in advance and then was confirmed for pick up the day before. Robert had no truck and no explanation. He then sent us to another location which was a gas station 30 minutes away, where we then picked up a very old U haul truck. My husband and I were furious and he sat on the phone with corporate for several hours that morning trying to make a complaint. We are furious with U haul and very disappointed in this service as we have used U haul several times in the past with no issues.

Originally had reservations at the main store in Daytona Beach for Saturday Feb 26. We showed up and they told us to pick up the truck at the mason avenue location. When we arrived mason dealer told us they gave all their trucks to the main Daytona office. We wasted a lot of time to poor inventory management . If it wasn't for the port orange location we would not had a truck. Port orange dealer held the truck and was prompt with her service once we arrived. The worst part of this ordeal was the truck being a 26 footer vs our confirmed request for a fifteen footer in Daytina We had to pay more for something we did not need . Uhaul corporate shoukd reimburse me for the difference

Individual not as friendly.



The lady that I talked to was very rude. She made things difficult and made me very mad.And where I had to park the uhaul was unmaintained and overgrown and I will never be returning to this location again.

While the cashier was friendly, my transaction was interupted several times by people buying beer and lotto tickets. It took the better part of 20 minutes for me to get the keys because the cashier, at the convenience store, was trying to do too much at one time.

Absolutely horrible experience. Truck was parked behind building in a tightly fenced area. They would not pull truck out for me. Very difficult to back out truck and not hit fence. Staff inside first forgot to give me the blankets and hand-truck then would not help with them. They simply threw them on ground and said "here" after the wife and husband running the store were done fitting with each other. Returning the truck was just as bad. Young male (I assume owners son) told me where I parked the truck (in the main parking area by the way) was not acceptable and I had to now squeeze it back into the tight fenced area in back. When I handed him keys, he asked where the blankets and hand truck were. Now, I have rented U-Hauls many time and have never had to bring everything back into the store. However, he was even more rude and said I had to go back out to the truck again and bring everything into the store. His reason: "We are a small convenience store and not equipped to help you". Each time I came back in fro truck (now 3 times) I had to stand in line with the grocery customers again. This Stop-n-Go is not where I reserved my truck for. I reserved for a location closer to my home and since the location was changed, I had to deal with these rude people in a location that added many unnecessary miles to my rental and overall charges. Needless to say, I do not plan to use U-Haul again.



I had a set time for pick up. I had to wait twenty minutes for another family member to show up and access the computer. Very nice people but my time is valuable and scarce.



I rented my truck as stated in the contract from 700 W. International Speedway Blvd. Daytona Beach FL, 32114. I picked the truck up along with a dolly which i payed for at approximately 7:15 am. The contract was a one way trip with drop off at the Stop N Go at 5687 S. Ridgewood Avenue Port Orange, FL 32127. I drove a total of approximately 6 miles from 700 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach FL to 12 Cormorant Circle Daytona Beach FL 32118. I loaded the truck all day until approximately 6:00 pm Saturday March 28, 2015. I then drove from 12 Cormorant Circle Daytona Beach FL 32118 to 6827 Stoneheath Lane Port Orange FL 32128 approximately 10.92 miles. At approximately 8:00 pm on March 28, 2015 I drove the uhaul to the gas station at the corner of Conrad Drive and U.S 1 in the same route to the STOP N GO at 5687 S. Ridgewood Avenue Port Orange FL 32127. I filled up the truck to 1/4 of a tank of gas which was a higher level than the truck had when i had it. I then continued in route to the STOP N GO at 5687 S. Ridgewood Avenue Port Orange FL 32127. This distance was 12.03 miles from my house at 6827 Stoneheath Lane Port Orange FL 32128. The gas station was immediately off the highway and is no factor in the total mileage driven. My total mileage used for the 26' truck i rented on March 28, 2015 was approximately 30 miles. In my contract i had purchased additional mileage at the daytona beach location (WHICH WAS NOT EVEN USED). I also brought the truck back with (MORE GAS THAN WAS ISSUED). On April 06, 2015 at 11:32 a.m. i was issued an email stating that i owe 221. 28 to UHAUL. This is incorrect. Someone made a very big error. I returned the uhaul on the same day at the location that was listed in the contract. I also dropped off the dolly that i purchased with the gas station attendant. I asked this gas station attendant if i needed to have him sign anything and he said no that i was okay. I am now being billed for 400 miles that i obviously didn't use. I need uhaul to wipe this debt out. I expect a call to complete this quickly. I will not do business with uhaul again and will notify my points of contacts and all my connections to use another service if this is not remedied immediatlely. I will also use other means to make sure this incident is made public. The timetable is important b/c i will not be in the states after Friday this week. I will not return until April 20, 2015. If this can be fixed immediately i will consider it a mishap and do business again. However if this is a long drawn out process and i am charged for the additional mileage for whatever reason I will be contacting many people.



Make sure that when you arrange to pick up the truck at 8:30am-9:00 am it's ready.i didn't get to drive away until 10:45am. Was not happy with this

The website indicated that I could pick up boxes at this location. They did not sell boxes which put me in a bind.

I paid for a dolly but did not receive it. Store clerk was very busy and forgot to put it in the truck. I called U-Haul Customer service and have never received a refund for the dolly I did not receive



My uhaul was filled with water because the door was left open. The uhaul also smelled like urine it was dirty on the inside. The man who rented it to me was very nasty and tried to over charge me because when i returned it it was still dusty he tried to charge me a 50 dollar cleaning fee when the sign said 25. There was also less than a quater tank of gas in it when i picked it up. Tried to complain they said thats all they had.
