My experience with uhaul was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. From ordering supplies to truck rental, mistakes, rudeness, long lines and errors in billing and supplies were made at every turn. Shame on you.

Everything was adequate. The service was not exceptional, however. It seemed that everyone would rather be doing something else. I got no answers to my questions regarding the truck. No one even let me know that the truck didn't come with a full tank of gas and the truck I got had less than a quarter tank when I picked it up.

The equipment I reserved, and Uhaul confirmed with me, and then I confirmed the confirmation was not available when I arrived. I flew in to rent a cargo van and drive back. I was stuck. The dealer worked with me to put me in a truck so I wouldn’t be stranded. Bottom line: Uhaul’s traffic control diverted me to pick up at a location that was out of my way and then didn’t have the reserved and confirmed equipment available. The local dealer saved the day by renting me a larger truck. Of course this all took an hour to resolve. Good dealer. Lousy corporate/traffic control.

I filled The Tank exactly as much as it was little bellow 3/4 but the u-haul charged me 1.9 gallon $9.98 This is not fare. I recommend to Pay my money back and after this rent the truck with full tank. Sirous Karimi

End of the month and a Saturday m wouldn’t you staff up to accommodate your customers? Arrived before 9 for my reservation and stood in line and at the counter for about 40 minutes. Computer running slow was explanation. Wouldn’t you have a backup plan in place when computers don’t work? Business happened before computers were around

Could not find reservation when I went to store, even though I showed email confirmation and reservation number on phone. Then wasn't able to have the rental for the time I wanted. The person helping me told me to bring the uhual back at 7 am when they opened and I would not be charged since there was a mistake on their end about availability on trucks. Returned right when the opened and doubled check with workers and was told I would be emailed a receipt. was charged for 2 days and then had to spend 45 mins on the phone with uhual to get it all sorted out. It was a frustrating process.

I walked in the office and an employee was making a phone call. I walked up to the desk and he didnt even acknowledge me. Didn't look up and say "One second" or anything like that. After the phone call he hung up and STILL didnt acknowledge me. Keep in mind I'm standing arms length away from him. Finally after a couple of minutes had passed and I couldn't believe how poor the customer service was I laughed out loud to myself. THEN he looked up and said, "be right with you". I laughed again and said "ok". Additionally when I called this particular location, the uhaul on Poway Rd, in Poway, CA the employee told me they didnt have any 15ft long trucks. He told me to try another location. So I tried the uhaul on Pomerado Rd, in Poway, CA and the lady told me that they don't have any 15ft trucks either BUT the first location I had called DID in fact have a 15 ft truck. So I reserved it and picked it up shortly after. Thought it was odd that he told me they didnt have the truck when in fact they did. Additionally when my wife went to drop the truck off no one was there. She checked inside, no one. There were two other customers waiting around. Finally a man popped out from behind and my wife tried to drop the keys off with him to which he replied, "thats not my job". Another customer said, "weve been waiting here for twenty minutes". So my wife ended up handing the keys to the man who came out from the back and she left. The truck was great, the employees and customer service were awful.
