Went to Marios to get the tow dolly. Tried to get one in Chino, it's always something so you can't get anything. Was told we could drop the dolly off in Chino . Was told by Chino it would cost 2 x more for dropping it off there. Will not try to use the chino location any more.
Dennis WU-Haul service has been declining over the years and this experience has confirmed my fears that U-Haul, not specific people, has become disorganized. I gave 1 star for the nice new truck, and 1 star for a couple people that helped as much as possible. I hope things change because the low bed loading is why we use them, but that isn’t enough anymore. 1. Pickup location was moved to another town. 2. Mileage offered was not even enough to pickup, load, unload, drop off. But I called twice and they gave me a max amount that would work. 3. No counter pickup at new location, U-Haul website was down, no key in lock box. 4. Another customer came in to pick up as we were leaving (30 mins for us to check out) and there were no more trucks at location. I felt sad for them and thought… that easily could have been us instead.
Kelly CStaff very helpful
BOBBY HAlthough its a small parking lot they are trying their best to manage it, so have patience. I was disappointed in the fact that the employees were not trained on the system. ( They are a new dealer I understand) the area field rep had to come out and do our contract, when returning the equipment the next day a different employee didn't know how to check in items, didn't have the equipment. She had to call the 800 number and have me do the check-in manually. I suggest before launching dealers adequate training is provided to the staff, I felt bad for them, they were trying all they could to help, but were never trained they stated.
