People were very friendly and pick-up was easy
james aWent to Marios to get the tow dolly. Tried to get one in Chino, it's always something so you can't get anything. Was told we could drop the dolly off in Chino . Was told by Chino it would cost 2 x more for dropping it off there. Will not try to use the chino location any more.
Dennis WU-Haul service has been declining over the years and this experience has confirmed my fears that U-Haul, not specific people, has become disorganized. I gave 1 star for the nice new truck, and 1 star for a couple people that helped as much as possible. I hope things change because the low bed loading is why we use them, but that isn’t enough anymore. 1. Pickup location was moved to another town. 2. Mileage offered was not even enough to pickup, load, unload, drop off. But I called twice and they gave me a max amount that would work. 3. No counter pickup at new location, U-Haul website was down, no key in lock box. 4. Another customer came in to pick up as we were leaving (30 mins for us to check out) and there were no more trucks at location. I felt sad for them and thought… that easily could have been us instead.
