Location was closed on a Saturday at 2 pm. Nowhere to park. And they are charging me a fuel charge that I do not rightfully owe. I have tried to contact someone about this charge to dispute it but have been unable to do so.

I reserved moving blankets but was not told until I arrived that there were none available. It would be nice to be notified ahead of time to make alternative arrangements if reserved equipment is not available.

Only comment is that the reservation was for 3:00 pm but I didn't leave until at least 3:30 pm. Normally wouldn't matter much but this was close and I wasn't able to return the truck until 3:15 pm.

I THOUGHT I was renting a 26' truck at the well advertised price of $40 a day and $0.40 a mile. This was for a one way haul from Virginia to Florida. I paid SIGNIFICANTLY more up front assuming when the actual miles were known I would receive a credit in Florida for the unused miles. No credit, rental cost was over three times the advertised rates. Ask the questions that I didn't. One way hauls are way more expensive than local rentals, who knew? I didn't.

The voicemail is confusing. The business number apparently forwards to another number, then goes to VM. The recording makes no reference to u-haul or Valley Self Storage, so I wasn’t sure I was leaving messages at the right number. When I got no reply, I became concerned that my truck would not be ready. It all worked out OK, but maybe you should consider adding a custom greeting to the VM.
